Very comfortable clean hotel, convenient for the trams even though it’s a little out of the centre. Supermarket virtually next door is very useful too. Staff are very friendly and would definitely go back again. Only took 1 star off because the continental breakfast was a bit patchy. I totally understand the need to avoid food waste, but there were things like hash browns that were empty about 30 mins before service finished, and the pastries didn’t seem to get replenished. On the last day there were plenty of hash browns left - but that was because they weren’t cooked properly. So much as you could make a good breakfast with what was there it could have been better.

“Solid hotel”

The hotel is not in the central part of Amsterdam, but it is quiet and close to the tram system, making it easy to get to the train and central Amsterdam. It is also next to supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacy. Also includes free breakfast.

I stayed here in September for work. The hotel is tucked down a quiet street. At the moment there are some building works happening nearby but I wasn’t really disturbed. I stayed here in September for work. The hotel is tucked down a quiet street. At the moment there are some building works happening nearby but I wasn’t really disturbed. The hotel feels small and friendly and I slept well. I was on the ground floor which felt odd but was actually fine. My room was quiet and clean. The shower was good pressure. Breakfast was standard for the brand but the quality of the goods was better than average. I would come here again if I had a customer in the neighbourhood.

We stayed here twice in August on the weekends. The good: - location in the South of Amsterdam Buitenveldert - tramway to City Center in walking distance - good choice of supermarkets nearby The bad: - rooms are worn, walls are all scuffed, furniture (desk chair missing), carpets stained - very noisy air conditioning which should be fixed - breakfast is complimentary, but chaotic to say the least, food items not replenished and empty before 11 am - not enough staff to maintain the levels during peak times The ugly: - upon arrival we were given a room key to the first floor, the door would not open. The front desk agent made a new key and still would not open. She then assisted us and found out the room was checked in with luggage in the room. We should have been given the same room on the second floor. “Oops sorry”. It is a basic hotel, but eye for details are missing. Management should invest and repair the damages. It could actually be a very nice place to stay. We will return and look forward to seeing some improvements.
