Not in central Amsterdam but right next to train station and only one stop on train to Amsterdam Centraal so perfect location. Excellent customer service! Spacious clean rooms! Comfy beds! Breakfast produce good! Shop and restaurants nearby! Would definitely return. Thank you!

A good hotel. Reasonably priced. Great location beside Sloterdijk train station, about 8 mins from Centraal Station and short train ride to/from Schiphol airport. Beds were good. Nice shower. A good hotel. Reasonably priced. Great location beside Sloterdijk train station, about 8 mins from Centraal Station and short train ride to/from Schiphol airport. Beds were good. Nice shower. But room needs a couple suitcase racks and a security safe. Decent breakfast. Only issue was the bar beside reception. We went for a drink; ordered Heineken on tap but it wasn’t pouring well. So asked for 2 bottles instead. They only had 1 in fridge - no other bottled beer. Asked for a glass of white wine instead - no white wine!? I didn’t bother asking for red. Need to hire a bartender who knows how to run a bar.

The location is 1 minute walk to Sloterdijk train and metro station with bus terminus too. One stop to Amsterdam Centraal on the train. Its Its cheaper if you're in no hurry to use the Metro. Buffet continental breakfast with hot scrambled eggs and tomatoes, meats, cheeses, cereals, juices, toast, breads, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurts etc. Was very good, never too busy and replenished often as necessary. Staff lovely, professional and polite. Bed was super comfy, kettle in the room, safe, ironing board and iron, hairdryer and TV with English channels. Warm, air con, bright and clean. Shower was great . Overall an excellent hotel, well run, great staff. Very clean, modern and bright. Has a bar, reading materials in the communal sitting area. Self serving items available to buy if forgotten anything. Late shop for downstairs for food, drinks etc. Marmaris restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Lovely atmosphere and great food. The beers good too! Shower has no handrail to exit safely from the shower which was slippery. Tiny button like handle to close the shower door when inside shower cubicle. Shower hot tap handle too hot! No hanging hooks for clothing in the shower room. No drawers for clothing, six coathangers for two adults clothing on a pole in an open corner with a small shelf above.....too high for me to reach. I used the window ledge and chair for my clothes...I do not live like this....awful experience. Room chaotic. Tiny ledge either side of the bed big enough only for a phone. I paid considerably more for this upper floor standard room......DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY....this is just a very basic room at a hiked up price for nothing more than a higher view. Not happy at all, very disappointed.
