“Good value but room for improvement”
I did extensive research on finding a hotel that would suit my needs in Amsterdam. I decided that Catalonia Vondel would fit the bill. I landed around 9:30am and took the airport bus to the hotel. “Mixed but could be better.”
A nice hotel in a quiet side street but within a few metres of restaurants and bars. Breakfast very expensive at 23 euros. Comfortable bed. Large "smart" tv which unfortunately out-smarted me (and I'm usually good with technology). No tea facilities, only a Nespresso coffee unit. Strange bath… more
