“Great value for money”
We booked two 4 bed rooms at Best Western for a gents weekend in Amsterdam. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean. We booked two 4 bed rooms at Best Western for a gents weekend in Amsterdam. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel is located a hours walk from Amsterdam centre but easily accessed by tram or bus. Excellent value for money and well placed for easy travel into Amsterdam centre. Hotels closer to the town centre are considerably more expensive and not as quiet. Staff were polite, welcoming and professional.

“Cheap, convenient and friendly”
This hotel is much cheaper than some of the other hotels in and around Amsterdam, and whilst it is not a luxury hotel, it is ideal for a weekend trip. This hotel is much cheaper than some of the other hotels in and around Amsterdam, and whilst it is not a luxury hotel, it is ideal for a weekend trip. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the staff were all very helpful, and the hotel had a good range of facilities. The hotel is also conveniently located just outside the city Center but within a 5/10 minute walk of the no. 2 tram stop which goes straight into the Center. The hotel is also a short 15 minute walk away from a train station.

“Phenomenal staff and a comfortable stay.”
The staff here are phenomenal and really made our stay wonderful. They were so accommodating and when we arrived, I told them we wouldn’t be needing our breakfast on the final day as our flight was too early. The staff here are phenomenal and really made our stay wonderful. They were so accommodating and when we arrived, I told them we wouldn’t be needing our breakfast on the final day as our flight was too early. Upon checkout they had made us up a wonderful bag each of breakfast items, snacks and water which they went above and beyond to help us. Everyone was super friendly. Breakfast on the day we had it was amazing, so much choice we could barely move after! Drinks at the bar were fairly priced. Very easy to get to the tram station which got us into Amsterdam within 22 minutes. There are shops nearby including a Lidl which was handy. The pizza vending machine was a huge hit and we ended up having that instead of going out for dinner both nights because it was so good! Honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is slightly smaller but no need for any bigger as it’s just a shower in there. The hotel was clean and everything we needed was on hand every time we asked. Fantastic customer service and a comfy stay with lovely beds. Will definitely return when we visit the Netherlands again!

“Not the best but not the worst. Comfortable.”
The staff are really friendly. They went above and beyond to help my partner to get one of the old styled pillows for a better sleep. The sink was slightly wobbly, the room a bit dated and old stool's. Plastic cups for the sink. The bed was firm but squishy too. I slept really well surprisingly. … more
The staff are really friendly. They went above and beyond to help my partner to get one of the old styled pillows for a better sleep. The sink was slightly wobbly, the room a bit dated and old stool's. Plastic cups for the sink. The bed was firm but squishy too. I slept really well surprisingly. We asked reception for decaf tea but they only could supply coffee which was appreciated. The lift is slow but was roomy. The fan in the bathroom doesn't have an off switch. But I enjoyed the time away and we were on the 5th floor. Comfortable and a safe base.
