The staff are friendly and welcoming - in relation to the guests, they do what is expected. I am surprised that a passport is requested on arrival, where the receptionist can read the Social Security Number (GDPR?) and must have additional information on the phone numbers and email addresses of the guests - things that are already provided on Hotels.com - his reasoning was that they can track us if we run from the bill. Nice start to a 3-day long stay. I have never run from a bill. Besides that, via hotels.com they already have my VISA information. So why see the passport? The price for the three days runs up to 1025 Euro for 2 people. That is 170 Euro/night/person. Including breakfast. Is it worth the money? The cleaning of the rooms is lacking - I found some sweets (something like marshmellows) in the radiator (picture). The soap is not in a dispenser, but in the small, old-fashioned plastic bottles. The breakfast buffet was lacking - clean plates were not replenished and the heating container with eggs was not refilled either. In return, however, you could order an omelette. But dinner was á la carte and we found that they had run out of several dishes and side dishes (we were offered rice instead of fries for our burger – and this was after we had waited for the food for an hour. These are small things that collectively give the impression of indifference towards the guests and only with earnings in mind - and my opinion is that price and quality do not match each other. I would say OK if it was a 100 Euro hotel. But not at 170 Euro – it's too expensive compared to what you should expect. The rooms themselves and the beds are nice enough. Large flat screen and good beds. But at this price, the hotel is in the class I would use if all other options has run out. Unfortunately - because it could be really good.
