“Nice vacations”
Very nice Staff, clean rooms, great location for evening walk to center. Generally nice stay. Some comments mentioned that area is not plesent, well from what we saw there are many similar areas in Athens. We don't have any bad experience even walking at night.

“Nautilus Spa, Based at Stalis hotel”
I have just had the most amazing massage at the Nautilus Spa. Michael is friendly, professional and made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Wish I had this at the beginning of my hotel. Highly recommend, feel amazing, and will definitely be back. Thank you Micheal🙏

“Rough area but not the Hotel's fault”
The Hotel itself is clean and the staff themselves are lovely, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the area IS known as the worst neighborhood in Athens (every city has one). There are drug users who hang about but they don't bother you and in a few minutes walk you are out of the area and into nic… more
The Hotel itself is clean and the staff themselves are lovely, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the area IS known as the worst neighborhood in Athens (every city has one). There are drug users who hang about but they don't bother you and in a few minutes walk you are out of the area and into nicer areas of Athens (to be honest, you still see the beggars and homeless in centre of Athens anyway). There is graffiti but... I've noticed that's the same in most European cities (I spent a week in Rome 4 months ago). You are less than 5 minutes from 2 different metro stations and a 5 day metro ticket is only 8 euros. 20 minute walk from Monstiraki Square or Syntagma Square. I am on day 5 of a 7 day stay (currently still here). Because of the area my first impression of Athens was not great however, I have now spent 5 days exploring and going on guided tours and to the sights of Athens so my impression has changed. Hotels in the other areas are a LOT more expensive so.... this one is cheap because of the above. If you are a bit of a snowflake, don't come. If you are looking for somewhere affordable and just use the hotel as somewhere to sleep at night and get up and head off to see the sights etc during the day it is fine. As say convenient location for metro and also for the open top tour bus stop.
