Small, clean, a little dark room with nice beds. The staff was sweet and helpful. The shower and toilet was OK, a little small and unfortunately not cleaned very well. The room felt a bit dated but was OK. But the location!! Absolutely the best place to be if you are going to the islands. We walked 3 our 4 minutes to get to Blue Star Delos at gate E6. Incredibly convenient!!

“Very basic but did the job”

The hotel felt safe and clean. The rooms are very small so don't expect anything different. However, it is right across the street from the port where we caught the ferry to Hydra the next morning. There is a really coffee shop across the street where we picked up coffee and some pastries for break… more

“Tired room, but super-convenient for the ferries and staff are lovely”

This hotel is certainly very convenient for the ferries to the islands. The room was tired and old-fashioned, the bathroom too. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on our floor. This hotel is certainly very convenient for the ferries to the islands. The room was tired and old-fashioned, the bathroom too. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on our floor. The best thing about the place were the super-friendly, helpful people on reception - and special thanks to the lovely lady who gave us a delicious piece of home-made cake!

I usually stay at Triton but I was too late to book. Metropole is very clean and very close to the harbor. They also had a sparkly Greek female receptionist who could be working in a better hotel. I usually stay at Triton but I was too late to book. Metropole is very clean and very close to the harbor. They also had a sparkly Greek female receptionist who could be working in a better hotel. But small things make Metropole the lesser hotel. Terrible wc seat, a sort of light weight plastic. Terrible lightbulbs, too glaring . I stayed in room 101, the light over one bed is cool and the light and the other is warm and pinkish. They need 2 pillows on each bed, one bigger pillow added. Otherwise it’s fine.
