“Outstanding VFM”
You wouldn't take anyone here to impress them, but Noufara offers phenomenal Value For Money. Although compact, the rooms are clean & tidy (as are the communal areas), the beds comfortable & the showers efficient. Although compact, the rooms are clean & tidy (as are the communal areas), the beds comfortable & the showers efficient. Breakfast is buffet-style -- unspectacular but a wide-range & something for everyone Location is great -- situated on a main street & surrounded by designer shops plus just a couple of minutes walk from the Metro. (Rooms at the front could be affected by traffic noise??, but my room was at rear and was quiet & peaceful) Five minutes walk from the bars & restaurants around the harbour area. Staff are friendly & helpful.

The personnel are invariably pleasant and service minded. We could borrow three irons to press our clothes, we were given proper support. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast was OK (although a bit pricey for the level, but on the other hand the price of the room was very reasonable, so all in all nothing to complain). The location is good if you are on the run to take a ferry in the harbor. There are a couple of marinas within 5 minutes walk, where you can find places to have dinner outdoor. If you do not mind staying outside the more touristic center of Athens, then you need to consider to invest in taxi rides. The airport can be reached within 40 minutes, thanks to the expressway crossing the whole city. I would recommend this hotel for the same purpose I visited it, i.e. business trips. This is not a luxury hotel of course, the room is basic and old fashioned, with an old carpet, window on a noisy street. I am particularly sensitive to noise so take it for what it is, but I find the ventilation in at least 80% of the hotels I visit a bit noisy, and this is not an exception.

This was a repeat visit to Hotel Noufara as we wanted a one night stay in Piraeus at the start of another island hopping trip. The hotel is in a very convenient location close to shops and walking distance to the port. There is also an all night bakery and food/drink stall nearby which is handy if you have a late night arrival. The rooms are a reasonable size and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay including a fridge and hairdryer. Staff are friendly and helpful and you can leave cases in a storage area next to reception which is handy if you want to look around Piraeus after the 11am check out time. Will stay here again if we need an overnight stay near to the port.

I had a single room. There were on electrical outlets for charging, beside the bed! In the bathtup was an 1800 century old, Dilapidated hairdryer. It was hanging over the water like a swirled up hose pipe. There was no cover. It was boiling hot to touch when turned on. It was hanging by a thread. … more

You never keep an electrical instrument near water. This hotel IMMEDIATELY REQUIRES 2022 HAIRDRYERS!
