Staff members were very helpful and polite. The building is a little dated, but room was very clean and comfortable. Location is very good. Walking distance to shopping, many restaurants and bakery near by. Wi fi inconsistent at times. Would book again.

Fab location 5 minutes for Plaka distance and 10 minutes to The Acropolis . Hotel on quiet side street with many nearby bars & a lovely bakery at the bottom of the road if prefer breakfast ‘on the go’. Our room was a good size with a large balcony , yes the furniture was a little dated but everything was very clean and the beds were comfy . The bathroom looks as if it had recently been modernised with a massive walk in shower. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The reception is manned 24 hrs so always someone is always on hand if required . There is a bar in the lobby area but was never open but you could bring in your own drinks to drink on your balcony or on the hotel roof top. The view from the roof top is amazing . You can see right across to the Parthenon and it look’s particularly stunning when it’s lit up on an evening . The roof top was advertised as open until 10am each evening although one evening it was closed during our stay and we only found out when we went upstairs to find the access was locked . The reason we were given for it’s closure was that a guest staying next to roof top area had an early flight ???? Surely one guest’s travel arrangements shouldn’t impact on the rest of the guests staying at the hotel. It would be courteous if reception had made guests aware of this and in future if any need for more roof top closures they need to be mindful to inform guests . Keys need to be handed in when going out so there was plenty of opportunity to inform guests of such changes. at that time. Had we known the roof top was closed we wouldn’t have returned so early . Fortunately we enjoyed the view another night but it could have been a disaster if we were only staying one night . Other than issue with rooftop we had a pleasant stay at this hotel.
