“Excellent hotel!”

Excellent hotel. Great staff. Attentive, good food service and rooftop lounge. Highly recommend. Just know it’s a good 5 kilometers from City Center. Very comfortable hotel and rooms. Gym could use some upgrading particularly given the size of the hotel and volume of guests.

Stayed here on a Viking cruise extension. The hotel is very nice with multiple restaurants (and a fantastic breakfast buffet). It's an easy walk to the tram or a 25 minute walk to the Plaka. Stayed here on a Viking cruise extension. The hotel is very nice with multiple restaurants (and a fantastic breakfast buffet). It's an easy walk to the tram or a 25 minute walk to the Plaka. Staff were friendly and helpful. Large rooms. Ours did face the street and there was significant traffic noise so you may want to request one away from the street.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. We were very early to check in but the reception agent did everything to get a room, even though it was an upgrade to club with additional pay. We gladly accepted the upgrade. The room was spacious, the carpet near the door showed some stains and the bathroom needed an upgrade. Bed was comfortable and the room quiet. Besides the carpet the room was clean. Nice club lounge on the 8th floor with a terrace with great view of the Acropolis. Unfortunately they shut this lounge at 22.30 and basically told everyone to get out…. Drinks were very expensive, 2 coffees for €15 is not acceptable. Small bottle of water €3 and a small beer for €8 Food prices in the restaurant are also well overpriced so we had lunch and dinner at a local taverna 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Great food, authentic Greek atmosphere, dinner including drinks for €30. Large beer for €3 and a bottle of water for €0,50. Breakfast was good, service friendly and the quality of the food excellent Do we recommend this hotel? Yes, but food and beverage prices are too high. Thanks again to the kind gentleman at the reception for arranging our early check in. Much appreciated!

Very clean hotel. We were on a lower floor, but never noticed any noise from the road. The breakfast option was terrific, one of the better buffets we have enjoyed in Europe for a chain hotel. The rooms were large, and though a bit dated and tired, they were clean and comfortable. Our only concern was the lack of communication between American Express and the hotel. We were promised early check-in after a transatlantic flight and drive in from the airport, but there was no availability. The front desk assured us that while availability was a challenge, our room would be ready shortly and they would make notifying us a priority. We left our phone with the front desk and were promised communication soon. Fast forward seven hours later and no call, and no communication. We returned to the hotel after normal check in time and were told the room wasn't quite ready despite watching a number of check-ins proceed directly to their waiting rooms. We understood the early check-in via the AMEX program was subject to availability, but the failure here was solely on the follow through and covenants made by the front desk in person.
