“Delphi and Apollo”
We decided to work our way around the Peloponnesus Peninsula counter clockwise from Athens. Our first stop was in Delphi, the home of one way streets. We decided to work our way around the Peloponnesus Peninsula counter clockwise from Athens. Our first stop was in Delphi, the home of one way streets. We chose a hotel with a great view of the valley below but with a balcony to enjoy sunset and a bottle of wine. Hotel has a large lobby and everyone at the reception desk was very helpful for restaurants and directions. The home of Apollo is a 10-15 minute walk. Parking is limited to the streets but wasn’t an issue for us. Rooms are clean and well maintained but decor is not a Four Seasons. We stayed for only a night as Olympia is next on our list.

“Great as a base to cover Delphi area”
Had a great 5 night stay, visiting the sites around the Delphi area. Hotel is a great base to travel out, as long as your a confident driver. Hotel is functional and met our needs. Had a great 5 night stay, visiting the sites around the Delphi area. Hotel is a great base to travel out, as long as your a confident driver. Hotel is functional and met our needs. Staff on the front desk were really helpful (Sunday 15th reception was brilliant). Recommendation would be got the hotel to share regional travel restrictions e.g. road access. Satnav does not advise of road closures. Breakfast was basic and could be improved.

“A lovely place to stay”
A friendly welcome waited for us at this budget friendly hotel. Right in the middle of town with sweeping views from the third floor, we enjoyed this place. Breakfast was well priced. Super helpful staff with tips about local restaurants and sights.

“Quaint and Comfortable”
This is a very comfortable, quaint hotel in Delphi. It has a small Buffett breakfast. It is very close to nice restaurants with a view. It is a 10-15 min walk to the Delphi museum and temple area. We received very good service from the check in staff.

Our group of 8 (4 rooms) chose this hotel because of its location, and its positive reviews. It is an old hotel, well located in Delphi and an easy walk to the archaeological site. Our rooms had views to the gorge and Bay of Corinth. The hotel is old, although renovations were performed at some time- a long time ago. The rooms are tiny, and the bathrooms are ready for another revamp. In all four of the rooms our group occupied, the shower flooded the bathroom floor. There is no counter space in the bathrooms whatsoever. In fact, towels are artistically arranged at the foot of the bed every day because there is nowhere to put them in the bathroom. The staff is pleasant but somewhat ineffective. 2/4 rooms had safes in the rooms that worked. The other 2 safes did not work. We were fortunate to manage parking next to the hotel. The street is small and very busy. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. The air conditioning was excellent. Overall, a decent although not luxurious stay.
