“The most wonderful hotel”
We stopped over in Weimar as part of a 16 day European tour. I had wanted to stay at the Elephant for some time, so was looking forward to it very much! Check in was a disappointment though. “Exquisite!”
This hotel is really somewhere special. From the minute we arrived to leaving we experienced extremely professional, friendly service. The lovely young lady at reception, the smiling, friendly bar man and the lady at breakfast were especially kind and helpful. I wish I had taken note of their names… more

“Baroque place”
Central in the city of Weimar. Belonging to Arabella hotels in Munich. Good managed property and accommodating people. Rooms are ok. Good sightseeing possibilities. No hotel parking available, but in the street. Nice also for Christmas Market.

“Major disappointment”
Check in was the worst that I have experienced in a long time. The staff simply doesnt care and fairly rude. Never even got a welcome to the hotel.
