“Fantastic hotel with the wonderful view and great location”

We’ve spent a very enjoyable week in this hotel with our children. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and chic; there is a huge bathtub and spa quality walk in shower on the room. The view and the terrace in the room are hard to beat. Beds are 5*. Hotels’ location is very good, all the main sights of the city are within 5 minutes by foot. Moreover, hotel has a private parking. Strongly recommend.

We had a amazing stay in this hotel. The rooms are very large (we even were upgraded - thank you for this) and a bathrobe and slippers are provided in the rooms. Upon request on the reception, more towels and a bag are provided for a visit in carcalla spa (Friedrichsbad actually provides its own slippers and towels). The first fill of the mini-bar (includes 2 wines, some drinks, and a few snacks) is also included. The rooms have a coffee and tea maker (including pads). Our room was oriented towards the spas and was very calm. The window shutters allow to make the room completely dark. So one can sleep very well. The personell of the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. So, in summary, we really had an amazing time and will certainly come again.

We loved staying at this hotel so much that we have decided to return three months later on our way back to Australia. We stayed in a Park view suite over looking the Caracalla Spa. Windows could be open for fresh air. The room was clean, spacious, the bed super comfortable and Rituals products in the bathroom. We chose the inclusion of breakfast and the selection was ample and fresh. We also dined in the restaurant and were able to have a small meal which is all we wanted on our arrival night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Staying again so recommendation enough. Will be interesting how to experience the difference between an April stay and early July one. Also easy walk into the town and shops.

“The lady at reception Friday afternoon was not professional, not sure her attitude towards me was personal or sth else?!”

Yesterday when check in, the lady with blonde hair at reception was not professional, I asked if I can pay now, she said yes, but finally she said you have to pay tomorrow when check out without any explanation, plus she said our reservation was including breakfast, then I checked the confirmation mail received, indicating excluding breakfast, then I asked her to verify, she said: no , your booking without breakfast. For above 2 points she even didn’t apologise at all! Apart from above, I arrived at reception first, she saw me, no any greeting no any smiles; the my husband came, suddenly she started to smile…, I am thinking if my Asian look bothered her ( my husband is blonde of course), so my stay experience was not pleasant.
