“A superb hotel & great restaurant in a quiet location”
A delightful hotel with very large rooms located in a quiet, peaceful area. The restaurant is excellent, although not inexpensive it is worth the money. All of the staff are very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights (August 2,3) and it has to rank as one of the best id range hotels we have ever stayed in. From the very first moment we were warmly greeted by the Owner, the experience was first class. Everything from the room, the staff, the food was 5* and we simply cannot find fault with this hotel. Mr Hirt, the Owner is the most hands on owner I have ever seen in an hotel and his staff are simply superb. Overall a great experience and one that other people should enjoy. If you want a good base for the Black Forest, this is the hotel for you,

I was back in Café Hirt after over 28 years since my last visit there and it's still great . The food was very good and the people there are so friendly and nice . My daughter is only 2 years old and she cannot finish a complete children meal yet , so they gave us an extra plate to put some of our food on it for her . Than she wanted to eat some bread and we asked for it . They gave her six slices of a very good bread and she was happy about it . But the best was , it was for free ! They asked us few times if everything is ok and even the owner came to our table to ask if everything is all Right . Great Service for a fair price ! When we went home the owner gave some sweets to my daughter and she was so happy about it . That's what I call great ! After the first visit you really wanna go back soon !!!

For a hotel in a small town in Germany, the Hotel Hirt is an exceptional hotel with a fantastic restaurant and staff! My son and I stayed there as we were tracing our family history and the Hotel Hirt is a true gem. Our room was large, the beds very comfortable, and the bathroom very nice. It was a very relaxing atmosphere for the couple of days we were there. The restaurant though is unbelievable. I have eaten in restaurants all over the world and this restaurant, in a little town in Germany, is definitely in my top three of all time! You must have the Chanterelle Crème Soup...I have never tasted anything like it. The richness, the taste of the chanterelles...I've never tasted any soup as good as this one. If you are ever in Deisslingen, stay at the Hotel Hirt and absolutely have dinner at the restaurant...you will be amazed!

The hotel is small, but the rooms are big. The facility in the room is clean, but minimal. A very good breakfast, whit a verity of food and fresh fruits. The rooms have a nice balcony and some have a door to the garden. Take into concern that there is no A/C, safe, coffee/tea or refrigerator in the rooms. If you come fro few nights and you need to be close, it can be a good choice for you. If you like to be in the city, or have no car, don't chose it.
