The hotel is well it's alright. It's pretty clean, the restaurant fare is unimaginative dull stuff made with no love and doled out by waiters that barely acknowledge your presence. The rooms are small, and don't bother with the pool, I've seen footbaths that are bigger. It's close to the slopes, it's got a ski cellar, it's warm.... Great service from the front desk but the Maitre D' needs some schooling, accusing me of theft the night after the waiters had failed to give me bill to sign! Not a great experience. Look it's OK, it's forgettable, it's passable, you won't love it, you won't hate it, but would I stay here again? Probably not.

This hotel has much potential. It is a large hotel with space and amenities. Unfortunately the hotel appears to want to cut costs and as a result falls well below the standard it could offer. The staff are friendly and were helpful, from the greeting, in the bar, at breakfast and during the check-out. The room I was in was clean and fine for sleeping, albeit somewhat basic. The website photos make the room seem bright and inviting. In reality I found my room somewaht dark, dour and spartan. The bathroom is small: the basin is squashed itno a small nische; when washing one stands in front of the door and has to reach across the bathroom, behind the door to reach the towels - there is no room next to the basin to hang anything; the loo roll is under the basin; the hotel provides one, wall mounted liquid soap which is mounted between bath and toilet and a stretch from the basin. No other toiletries are supplied. Guests may use the swimming pool and sauna (which is a long hike from the rooms across the reception and past the hotel offices two floors down). A bath robe is supplied but guests are requested to use the room towels in the swimming pool and are reminded that an inventory is taken at the end of each guest's stay! Fine if one doesn't mind chlorine on one's bath towel. The pool is too small for the size of the hotel. The breakfast was normal with scrambled eggs and sausages served from warming dishes in addition to a continantal breakfst with cold meats and cheese. Tea and normal coffee is included in the price but anything over and above this (eg. Latte, ...) has to be paid for extra. As already mentioned the staff were very friendly. WLAN is offered at no additional cost. This may be a fun hotel in the ski season but one should not expect anything other than the bare essentials. I'm always on the look out for fun places to stay with my family - I will NOT be taking them to the Panorama.
