Booked the Superior Maisonette for two weeks. Plenty of space for two people. Very responsive front desk staff who were friendly and helpful. Internet service worked well. Fitness room was small but fine. The streets can be a little noisy at night, but bearable. The REWE store next door was super convenient. Very close to the Isar River and inviting, long walks along it's banks. Easy access via Busses 58, 68 and 132. The refrigerator was very small and items were frequently wet as the tiny freezer was sweating and dripping. Ventilation was a problem. There is no AC and fans were ineffective. We could never get the place to cool down even if we kept the windows fully opened. The weather was hot and humid so it made sleeping difficult, especially in the loft. The rooms felt tired and need to be refurbished. There were cracks in the sink in the bathroom. A leak from the tub led to a little water on the floor after a shower. The small, glass swing panel on the bathtub made it impossible to take a shower without getting water on the floor. I would advise them to provide a rubber mat for the tub. Standing in the tub, taking a shower using the hand-held hose was a slippery business. The rooms were cleaned only once during our stay. I suggest they empty the small trash buckets more frequently and provide fresh towels more than once per week. TV is provided but there are only German channels. For me that was fine as it helped me to improve my German. Overall, the hotel was functional as we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Basically, we were up and out early and returned to sleep.

We rented a deluxe double apartment for 30 days. We enjoyed our stay there and it felt like home away from home. We spent the month taking day or mult-day trips, using the room as our home base. We were generally very pleased with the apartment and hotel. The accommodation was as portrayed in the website photos. The apartment had a separate bedroom, living room with desk and futon couch and chairs, plus a separate cooking nook. There was also one and and extra half bath which was helpful. The room was quiet. A Rewe grocery store was right next door which was very convenient. The Baldeplatz bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk away. The 58 bus will take you to the Munich Hauptbahnhof in about 15 minutes and the 68 goes the opposite way and will take you to the Munich Ost (East) Bahnhof. The 132 bus runs to Marienplatz. You can also take the 58 to Goeteplatz or walk there in about 10 minutes for the U3 and U6. The Isar river is just across the street with nice walking paths. The room was up to date with good carpet and nice wall coverings, nice tile in the baths and has a hair dryer. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we received cleaning service once a week. There are 3 washing machines and 2 dryers in the basement that operate through the WeWash app. It is convenient once you figure out the app, but is pricey, just under 5 Euros per wash load and 4.10 to dry a load, however you do not have to have soap as that is included with the machine. Also, we sometimes had to wait for open machines. We had a few small issues which I will detail, so give a 4 rather than a 5 rating. The issues were: 1) The AC did not work all that well on hot days, however, we were also provided two room fans, plus the windows will open either with the top open or full open (double hinged if you know how to do it), which let in a nice breeze; 2) While the kitchen had a fridge, a built-in two burner hotplate (which requires you to turn on the timer to use), microwave, coffee and hot water pots, there was no oven or toaster; 3) The dish and utensil service was meager. Although the apartment is rated for 3 people (because of the futon), we had two forks, two knives, two small spoons and two larger spoons. The dishes were also on the short side with two large, two small plates, two soup bowls and two cereal bowls, two ceramic cups and two small and two large glasses. There was a paring knife with a bent blade and a serrated knife for cutting. It was difficult to prepare meals without some extra forks, knives and spoons, plates etc. We had to wash between preparation and eating and also had to buy the dish soap and dishwashing detergent (at Rewe). It would be nice to have a few extra utensils, plates and bowls. We found ourselves using the dishwasher much more than normal (and using much more water), because of the inadequate number of utensils and bowls. The frying pan was also not non-stick. There were also two pots and one mixing bowl and a colander; 4) Although the bathrooms were up to date, the tub/shower was awkward to use. It had only a swinging glass panel on one end of the shower and the shower was an adjustable wand. The set up was not easy to get in and out of and would splash water out of the shower; 5) the room has a safe, but it did not work well. It would open fine after putting in a code to close, but then for some reason, after opening it and then putting in the code again to close, it would still stay open. I had to fiddle with it and make it give me an error reading before it would take the code again to close which was frustrating and a waste of time; 6) Two garbage cans were provided in the kitchen, but no extra supply of garbage bags provided. I had to keep going to the desk to ask for more. They would give me one or two at a time. I am not sure why they would not give us a better supply of trash bags when we had a reservation for 30 days; 7) we had a few bugs over the 30 days - maybe 5 or 6 cockroaches and 4 or 5 daddy long leg spiders. I have lived in Germany before and that is not a surprising number for 30 days, however, they are around; 8) We had a double bed, but it is not really a double bed but two twins pushed together on one platform with individual comforters - Again that is generally the German way, so if you want a regular double bed then you should book the Marriot or some other American Hotel; 9) There is a buffet breakfast, but we never used it because it was 20 Euros per day per person and we were satisfied with fixing our own meals. We might have used it if it was more reasonably priced, but did not, so cannot comment on the quality; 10) Finally, when I initially booked, it was for 5 weeks instead of 4. Our circumstances changed and when modifying the booking to drop a week, I was charged a higher rate and lost the benefit of my earlier lower rate. I did save some money because we cut out a week, but less than expected. Even though the change was at least a month out, we still lost the early booking rate, although we did receive a 5% discount on both rates for staying more than 28 days. All in all we loved the hotel, the location and the staff and would definitely stay here again, but hope in particular that the kitchen could be beefed up with some more utensils and dish service, and that better shower doors could be installed.

Kitchen, bathroom, room itself - everything was cozy and convenient . Nearest supermarket just next door to reception , coffee machine in the room, available balcony. Those all are plusses. Minus - quality of the internet not always as expected
