Excellent location! A very easy walk to the S-Bahn, which will take you to Marienplatz and beyond in a matter of minutes. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, but there are a few restaurants and breakfast spots nearby that were convenient. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms were perhaps the biggest I have ever seen in Europe. Restaurant bar proved lovely for an after-dinner drink. Hotel staff was wonderful and even provided us some recommendations for places to eat in Berlin (our next stop) which we gladly took them up on. I'd return here in a heartbeat.

We previously visited this Hotel in 2019 and returned this November as we had such an enjoyable stay last time. The Hotel staff in all areas are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make an enjoyable stay. A particular mention to Mat in the Concierge team who made our stay extra special with recommendations and securing restaurant reservations during the busy Xmas Market period. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Old Town and right next to a Tube station which takes you into the centre of town. A really convenient location. I would highly recommend this Hotel if you are visiting Munich.

I really enjoyed my stay here. My buddies and I came from the US to watch American Football in Allianz Stadium. Unfortunately our Giants lost. We stayed here 4 nights. It was very accessable to the train station. We took the train from the Airport. It was very easy to do. 15 euro each. We did rent a car on the last night and it costed us 33 euros to park it overnight. There were plenty of spots. The room was on the small side and so was the bathroom. The single beds were tiny, but were comfortable. The room was very clean and modern. They provided 2 bottles of water each night. There are Crabtree cleansing products in the bathrooms and there were plenty of towels. The shower had nice hot water. I did not care for the half glass partition which allowed for water to spill onto the floor. Breakfast Buffet was outstanding. Eggs made to order and any kind of meats you could imagine. Don't be late for breakfast, they shut that place down like a prison door. Hallways were nice, clean and modern. You could get lost however, some of the halls seem to go on forever. The bar was very nice, but the bartender pours a very poor shot. There are four elevators that work and the wait was always very short. From this hotel, it is a decent walk to the Historic Areas. As long as it's not raining, it's a very doable walk. Just watch out for the bikes in the bike lane. It's not marked and looks just like the sidewalk. You gotta know, or else you are going to get hit. Maps are provided in the lobby and there is a small convenience shop there as well. There is an exercise room, but we were there to drink beer, not workout. There are plenty of Brau Haus, shops and restaurants close to the hotel. Get out and explore. The neighborhood seemed very safe, even at night. Again, I really enjoyed my stay here and I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The Hilton Munich City's location combines central concenience with proximity to neighbourhoods of a more local vibe. Even though emails in advance remained unanswered, welcome was friendly. The room was sufficient in size, nicely-decorated and clean, whereas water pressure in the shower was far too weak. The bed was comfortable, but our TV did not work at all, and could not be fixed during night time. The atmosphere at the club lounge with a balcony offering a nice view of the city was pleasant, yet its culinary offer was extremely limited, especially during cocktail hour. Breakfast was - quite frankly - a desaster with very limited product selection of mediocre quality, the team being terribly understaffed, the buffet completely crowded, and a striking shortage of coffee stations. Overall, despite a couple of strong aspects, such as the very friendly and effective housekeeping, the stay left a mixed impression.
