We had 3 rooms & 5 people. Our family loved it. Though not picturesque area it was a good location. Tram 1/2 block away directly to the center of town. Found 2 great restaurants close by .” Augustiner “for your beer hall and “Heidi” great modern Bavarian sort of Gastropub. We even used the local hair salon close by. The family who runs it were wonderful. Loved the breakfast!! And a little bar for our end of the evening nightcap . Just perfect! The reviews of noise ... when we closed our windows we heard nothing.

This unpretentious hotel is within a short bus/S-bahn ride from the main station. I stayed there during Euro 2024, and surprisingly the prices here were not as outrageous as in the other places. The staff was extremely nice. The room was a little small for two people, but we were there only to sleep. It was pretty comfortable, but also un-airconditioned, like many European hotels, and it was pretty hot. I would certainly consider staying here again.

While the frontage feels less than inviting, given the unattractiveness of Landbergerstrasse, once you step inside you are immediately transported to a warm, uber-Bavarian (but just on the safe side of cheesy) environment. Between the rooster motif, the charming woodwork, and the perpetual smiles on the faces of the staff, my wife and I never felt less than welcome at Hahn Hotel. We were told to request rooms on the third or fourth floor on the side street and we did, and I think I'd recommend the same... I imagine street level on the front of the building might be a little louder than some would prefer. We felt very removed from the city just three floors up. Despite not being in the heart of things, as Munich is a very small city, we found it rather easy to master the tram/metro system and were able to get back home via the 19 tram even relatively late. And when it's time to take the S-Bahn to the airport, that too is very simple, and the hotel concierge will even recommend whether the 1 or the 8 is having better service that day. Breakfast was lovely: we wrote ahead and were even provided turkey ham, which was so thoughtful, although the farm-fresh scrambled eggs with herbs were the highlight of every breakfast for us. We might try to stay someplace more central during our next stay, but should that be cost-prohibitive, we would DEFINITELY stay again at the Hotel Hahn.

Stayed here for 1 night as working nearby. The hotel is located on a busy street, there is parking on this street and the hotel also has about 5 parking bays. Parking in the hotel car park is a not tight getting through the tunnel and there is no room to turn around so you will be reversing out through the tunnel and onto the street. My room was small basic, but comfortable. If you have the window open expect to here traffic. There is a small tv in the room with a few local channels. Getting to the city centre is very simple. I walked it, took about 40 minutes. Breakfast is the normal continental affair
