Very good with a good location near the center of Lubeck. Clean and fresh rooms at a good price. The Panorama restaurant has a wonderful view of Lubeck. Good breakfast with a lot to choose from for all tastes at a reasonable price. If you come by car, there is plenty of parking next to the hotel ... more

Very good with a good location near the center of Lubeck. Clean and fresh rooms at a good price. The Panorama restaurant has a wonderful view of Lubeck. Good breakfast with a lot to choose from for all tastes at a reasonable price. If you come by car, there is plenty of parking next to the hotel for 12 Euro/day.

“No Wifi, A/C is programmed to shut off after short time, parking is a nightmare.”

As an international traveler I care most about functioning wifi, A/C, and parking - basically in that order. As an international traveler I care most about functioning wifi, A/C, and parking - basically in that order. The hotel is easy to reach from Hamburg via Autobahn and close to major routes. 25 min walk into the city, several shops and restaurants close by. Breakfast and bar is great, amazing view from 8. floor. Rubbery smell in the hallway. Parking is a nightmare in the adjacent parking lot - very tight no space situation all around. Room clean with spartan ambiance that is called ‘nordic’ . No carpet and very clean. Not much room in the bathroom/counter. Wifi does not work - also it is an all open network hotspot causing additional problems with Mac/ I phone. A/C in room shuts off after short period of time with humid weather. Very minimal bedding - 1 small pillow with no additional pillows in room. Staff at the desk was helpful with late check-in. Otherwise unconcerned about the idea that most travelers need functioning wifi and expect A/C to work. Staff in the bar/ restaurant is amazing and super friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Booked this hotel for a weekend get-away with my girlfriend. Did see it was not exact center but was a bit disappointed about the suburban neighbor hood. But what was worse was the bath room that did not have a door. There was a sliding door that did not close 100 % to the toilet itself, but even if we have been a couple for 6 years we do like some privacy which was non-existing. Other than that room was fine (but no fridge or coffee machine in the room). Breakfast was on the top floor with a nice skyline view and the buffet was ok with good selection and ok coffee machine making coffee specials. Staff was friendly and helpful but rest rooms were with flaws both days and there were old pommes frites on the floor. Also as long as you show your corona passport everything was fine. So there were no requirements on sanitizing your hands before using the buffet which I have experienced in other German hotels during 2021.
