“Christmas markets visit”
Chose this hotel because of its proximity, closeness to the haubtbahnhof. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice. It is not far from central station so good transport links but it is in a very run down looking street which is not obvious when you book of course. On opposite side of roa… more
Chose this hotel because of its proximity, closeness to the haubtbahnhof. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice. It is not far from central station so good transport links but it is in a very run down looking street which is not obvious when you book of course. On opposite side of road is a bus stop that takes you directly to the station if you don't fancy the walk! Nothing bad to say about hotel itself and overall we had a comfortable stay.

“Nice hotel but no good location”
It is a dated old hotel, however, the management overall is acceptable.The room is spacious, the staffs are polite. The problem of this hotel is its location. It is 1 km from the central Railway station South entrance, It is also 1 km from the nearest S Bahn station Hammerbrook. The hotel sit nice… more
It is a dated old hotel, however, the management overall is acceptable.The room is spacious, the staffs are polite. The problem of this hotel is its location. It is 1 km from the central Railway station South entrance, It is also 1 km from the nearest S Bahn station Hammerbrook. The hotel sit nicely between the two so neither way you have to walk 1 km. Beware the road from Central Station to the hotel is downhill, and on the way back is a steep uphill climb. So if you are leaving the hotel, it is better to us Hammerbrook station. Another point is the road are completely shelter-less, so if it is raining you surely will get soaked.

Can not change German culture regarding air conditioning- but since there was not one in the room,the only way for fresh air was to open the windows. However, it is on a major street, and near a set of train tracks (in use), so it got generally pretty loud at times. Additionally, there was at least one night that persons were smoking on the sidewalk...
