I enjoyed my experience so much at Lindner Hotel Frankfurt Main Plaza. It was my first visit to Frankfurt, and I was traveling alone. The receptionist, Nol, was very friendly and well-prepared with my room reservation materials. So, the check-in process was very effective. He also provided a lot of helpful information about local food and restaurants, which made me feel so welcome. The view of the room was fantastic; I highly recommend it! My room had three large windows facing the city view of Frankfurt, which was incredible! Even the bathroom has a window for a lovely city view. The location was super, 21 minutes from the airport and 2 minutes walk to a local chain supermarket REWE, super convenient. 15-minute walk to the Iron Footbridge, the most famous sightseeing area of Frankfurt. The hotel has good facilities for regular gym and swimming, but I didn't have a chance to use it. I checked them as a plan B, just in case I couldn't do my planned morning run. I was lucky; the weather was lovely, and it was such a refreshing run on the riverside track. Such a peaceful and safe neighborhood. Highly recommended.

“Too confusing for a Hyatt managed property”

This hotel is located near the Main river and outside the busy city center. When using the car GPS to locate the hotel it pointed me to a building in front of the hotel and the parking garage wasn’t the one from the hotel. Why is this important? Well if you have luggage it’s a pain to roll your bags over a stone pavement to the hotel. If you use the hotel’s parking garage you just have to take the elevator to your floor. The hotel’s garage is twice the price of the other garage. Speaking of elevator, when I arrived there was just one working elevator and since the hotel is located in the same building as residence apartments and they share the elevator there was a large queue of people waiting fot a single elevator. Also, parking is another mess. I asked for a ticket that would ease my in/out of the garage. The front desk person told me he registered my license plate and I don’t need to do anything and the system will scan the license plate and let me in and out. Reality is that it didn’t work and O had to press a button for a ticket. So, he gave me another ticket that allows to be scanned instead. Anyway, the rooms are spacious and come with a small kitchen area. Very convenient for long stays. Now, if you’re allergic to carpets, the rooms are like the 90’s hotel with carpet everywhere… This is a very 90’s style hotel in its fixtures but they try to get modern by not having a working phone in the room. If you need assistance you better use the hall phone and dial 9. To order room service if that’s your thing then you have to call the restaurant using your phone or go downstairs to eat. All room services no matter what period they charge you a €5. Today I was surprised again as the restaurant entrance says 18:30 it will open. I entered the restaurant 18:45 and was summoned by on of the staff telling me the restaurant isn’t open and I should go to the bar on the other side… Let’s see how the rest of my stay goes.
