Very nice and comfortable hotel for visiting the nearby attractions. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Other facilities like the spa area (swimming pool, sauna etc) were all functioning and were also never full which was useful. If coming with pets, there is a nice park right in front and also behind the hotel. The breakfast was also good and offered more then what one would expect. The restaurant on the other hand is an interesting story as on one of the nights multiple dishes from the menu were unavailable (note: this wasn't even close to the closing time of the restaurant) and on two different evenings, no single dessert was able to be ordered, very odd. Other then this, the waiter was kind and the food was served fast and at a fine quality. This is likely the best option for hotels in the region, thus highly recommend all together.

Although this hotel seems to be mostly for tourists, I stayed here on business as a stopping point between destinations when there was extremely limited hotel availability. The location is very much out of the way, but the benefit is the environment is quite relaxing, with a large park behind the hotel. There is plenty of parking in the hotel garage located across the street from the entrance. Parking is an extra charge. The use of old style metal keys worried me a bit, but I was pleasantly surprised when entering the spacious room with nice furnishings and plenty of closet and luggage space. There was also a balcony for those with time to sit and relax. Everything seemed to be in working order including very good water pressure in the shower. No air conditioning in the room was one drawback on the warm day that I stayed. The elevator worked, but seemed to be very old. Ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and we were able to enjoy the meal at an outside table. Breakfast was simple but sufficient.

As my first time visiting Germany for business I was very satisfied with the hotel, rooms were suffice. Only thing being English there was only 1 TV channel. The staff were always very helpful and the dining was good. Please be mindful this hotel is in the middle of nowhere so unless you're on business or wanting a country side relax bring a hire car with you. The evenings around the bar area were cosy and there is a bowling alley as well. I did not use any of the steam room or sauna facilities. Overall a comfortable stay for the week at the Quality Inn.

“very good comparing to detmold city”

this is a cozy hotel with small rooms and bathrooms , the food buffet is fair , outside area is beautiful , nice bar and very welcoming staff . Wifi is limited in the period of stay . each person got 2 GB of download , no fridge or mini bar in the room .

Chose it according to the lovely photographs and overall it was okay. Especially the pool is good. But I admit, I was a bit disappointed. When you look closer there are signs of neclect: The inner court is not properly taken care of, the furniture is a bit dated. All in all it is okay, but the service personal are a funny mixture: 50 % are very attentive, the other 50 % are beyond description. Never before have I waited 90 Minutes for a bowl of soup!
