“Very close to the train station and bus station.the musical Dome is next to it also”

Checking in went very well the room was spotless good value as we booked in advance the beds we’re comfortable desk area and two seats we were facing the train station side and did get a broken sleep with train noise ask for a room at the front of the building.but we had a good view of the cathedral

The hotel was in a great position next to both bus and train stations. The reception staff were welcoming, informative and friendly. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel itself was immaculately clean, our bedroom was very comfortable and everywhere was lovely and warm. We opted for breakfast on 2 of our days which was excellent with a great array of both hot and cold food.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The hotel foyer was light and bright and easy to find, right on the street corner. The building itself is quite unattractive but opposite the main train station. The public areas of the hotel were clean and well kept, albeit a little dated, but in good condition. The hallways were light and bright with views out across the city from the stairs, which I used often, as the lift was a little slow/busy at times. There was a sauna on level 3, but it was out of order. The room I had was very clean and recently refurbished and in excellent condition. Thankfully, I had a window that opened, albeit overlooking a very noisy street, which didn't bother me, but it would certainly bother others. When the window was closed, the room was very quiet. Sadly, the room didn't have any air-conditioning nor a fan. I would not want to stay here if the weather was warm or even hot, as it would be unbearable. I didn't know this was the case when I booked the hotel. Maybe I just didn't read it on their website, or it is just not mentioned. The rooms would benefit from at least a ceiling fan. The king-size single bed was very comfortable, and the linen was fresh and clean everywhere. The bathroom was very spacious and in excellent condition. The water pressure was brilliant. A glass shower screen should be installed replacing the plastic curtain. The rooms have old-fashioned, traditional keys for entry.
