“Beautiful hotel with an amazing location”

I would like to thank Hayatt the receptionist for her help and her beautiful attitude. The room and the bathroom were spacious. The beds were comfortable as well. The whole hotel is honestly beautiful and around everything you need.

Thank you for a fantastic stay The room we had was an adapted disabled room, very spacious and the bathroom was large and easy access with plenty of handrails ( room 312 ) A problem with noise in the room above was sorted with great efficiency by a lovely lady at reception. All the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. Breakfast was hot with plenty of selection, from cooked bacon eggs and sausage, to cheese breads and patisserie. Well worth having but weekends get very busy, the staff worked hard to clean tables and keep the tables ready for people arriving. With the hotel only a 10 minute walk from the Dom, it was easy to access all the markets Another fantastic trip, Thank you

“Nice room but too hot”

The hotel was nice and central in a good location. However, the room was so hot, the air con had been switched off and as the hotel was on a busy main road it was impossible to have the window open. The hotel was nice and central in a good location. However, the room was so hot, the air con had been switched off and as the hotel was on a busy main road it was impossible to have the window open. The next day we asked for a fan which was left in the room for us and helped a lot. The room was clean and modern, but we only had 1 towel and hand towel for the 2 of us. The maid also failed to replenish the coffee, sugar, and whitener each day.

“Ok stay but be warned of 24 hour gym!”

Stayed here for 3 nights for the Christmas markets. A good location close to the city centre and train station (tip, get the train from the airport as it cost €7 for two people whereas taxis seem to be €40-50 and the train is so easy). Stayed here for 3 nights for the Christmas markets. A good location close to the city centre and train station (tip, get the train from the airport as it cost €7 for two people whereas taxis seem to be €40-50 and the train is so easy). Clean, modern hotel with a good breakfast which kept being topped up. We had a very quick check in (our room was ready early which was a bonus) and check out which I know doesn’t seem to be the case for others, looking at reviews. No fridge in the room which seemed very unusual. We had no milk in the room and asked for a jug downstairs but then of course had nowhere to store this. Beds not hugely comfortable. However, we were very disappointed with the location of our room (fourth floor). We were a bedroom right under the gym which is 24 hours. Is it really necessary to have a 24 hour gym, particularly when it is next to bedrooms on the fifth floor and above bedrooms on the fourth? We were woken our first night by a huge thud at 1am and the banging continued through to 3am, we could only assume someone was moving equipment. We reported this the next morning but the staff weren’t bothered. The second and third nights were the same and we called to ask if we could move rooms the second night but the hotel was fully booked. We appreciate nothing can be done in this case, however there was no offer of was there anything else they could do to apologise etc. To have a 24 hour gym above bedrooms seems ridiculous - it ruined our stay as we just did not sleep. This absolutely needs to be moved to the bottom floor. We were a deluxe room - this is not a deluxe experience. Nobody goes on holiday to have someone running on the treadmill above them at 2am… As with other reviews, housekeeping seemed very inconsistent. We are sure one day our bed wasn’t redone as it was exactly how we left it (we don’t mind but would normally be done). One teabag left for two people, we had to collect more milk sachets from reception (any other hotel this would be brought up). One day our shower gel was taken away so had to call for this to be brought back. Another day our window had been opened and left open. All in all an ok stay, however we didn’t feel hugely comfortable in the area itself. Again, a good location for the Christmas markets but a few things the hotel need to be considering in terms of customer service and the best experience for guests. It’s a basic to ask guests when checking out if they enjoyed their stay…we actually feel quite frustrated that we have left without any form of compensation.
