“A nice hotel next to the zoo.”

Perfect hotel for a city-break. Spacious rooms in a modern style. 5 min on foot from zoo, 8 min from subway station and KaDeWe Berlin. Delicious breakfasts at the hotel, however, there are queues at peak times (it's quite a big hotel). I will probably book this hotel on my next visit to Berlin.

What a magnificent hotel. It's not just its central location close to shopping centers. These are the people, the team members who are very kind and ready to help and always with a smile. The rooms are ordinary but maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet is rich, contains a variety of products presented in an aesthetic way. In short, if you are thinking of a hotel in Berlin, this hotel is an excellent option

Very nice hotel with a great location. The entrance is really beautiful with the lights, The rooms are ok, ours had a double bed and a chair bed, the room was quite small but sufficient. The one issue i had was the air conditioning is turned off, the windows don’t fully open and even with them open as much as they can the room was extremely stuffy, especially considering it’s size and that 3 people were sleeping in it. It made it very uncomfortable at night, i’m also menopausal so chose a hotel that specifically advertised it had air conditioning! The air con is probably not needed in the reception and communal areas however the rooms are a different story! The breakfast was nice, 3 different areas to eat, one we never used so i presume this is for the “elite” I didn’t like the fact that i’m the room with the windows tables were reserved, then for the entirety of our breakfast they were never occupied, we got pushed into a corner in a not very nice seat because tables were reserved that were never used!? The lifts in the morning are very slow and although there are 3 they seem to be overcrowded, to the point i got out of one as people just kept squashing themselves in rather than patiently wait for the next lift!! overall nice hotel, would recommend if you aren’t menopausal or can sleep in hot rooms

Hotel was lovely in a ‘leafy’ quiet area right opposite Zoo and close to Underground trains and the 200 bus just 2 minutes up the road that basically went to Potsdamer Platz close to all the main sites. Hotel was lovely in a ‘leafy’ quiet area right opposite Zoo and close to Underground trains and the 200 bus just 2 minutes up the road that basically went to Potsdamer Platz close to all the main sites. Very efficient, very easy to get around and Ku’damn area very nice! Hotel great! But no air con as apparently they turn it off in Autumn?! fair enough but room was like a sauna and the windows only open a small amount. Beautifully clean and comfortable though! Mini bar and kettle. Took me a while to realise you had to pull the drawer out to get the kettle to work, could be a bit more generous in coffee/ sugar offerings! The only other thing I’m going to mention is lack of own ‘advertising’. We weren’t told about breakfast when checking in. Info on the tv limited and was a bit disappointed to find that they did bar snacks in the bar as only aware of full restaurant menu. In the old days there used to be always a directory in the room which had all info you needed. Just would off like to have eaten in the bar one evening in more a casual setting. Would definitely stay again though!
