We have had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Alexanderplatz and would absolutely recommend it—especially to vegan travellers and families looking for a budget-friendly base in Berlin. The location is brilliant, near the U-Bahn, making it easy to explore the city. We booked well in advance and got a family room at an unbeatable price, which made our trip incredibly affordable. For reference, our total trip for a family of four, including flights and hotel, was just £300! As a vegan family, we were really impressed with the breakfast—so much so that we ate there every morning to save money while keeping the kids full for the day (they eat free). There were overnight oats, fruit salad, Oatly, a variety of breads, vegan meats, salads, loose-leaf teas, and fresh coffee. It was far better than we expected, and with Berlin’s incredible range of exclusively vegan eateries, we had no trouble eating well for the rest of the day. A few practical things to note: • Rooms are only cleaned upon request—we found this totally fine, but some reviews complain about it. • The rooms are warm, so we chose just the sheets to stay cool at night. • The bathroom was perfectly fine • We had a room with a view of the TV Tower, which was a nice bonus. A small note for families—our son is 6ft 3 and 14 years old, and while we were still technically able to book a family room, the kids’ beds aren’t the comfiest for a teenager that size! Next time, we’ll get two rooms, but if your children are younger, this setup is perfect. We visited all the major sights, made good use of the transport links, and even enjoyed shopping next door in the massive Humana second-hand shop. Overall, this hotel was great value for money, vegan-friendly, and ideally located for getting around Berlin. Would definitely recommend!

“Best value hotel in Berlin!”
Probably the best value hotel in Berlin. 500m from the Alexanderplatz, write on the doorstep if transport connections. Probably the best value hotel in Berlin. 500m from the Alexanderplatz, write on the doorstep if transport connections. Super comfortable beds, and you even get a choice of firm or soft pillows (or both!). Fantastic big walk in shower with a well designed bathroom. My room overlooked a road with a view of the tv tower, but the room was very quiet. Unlike the Travelodge (at least in the UK) they have power sockets next to the bed, very important if you have. CPAP machine. Loads of restaurants within walking distance, although I chose to eat in the restaurant every morning for breakfast, which is incidentally worth every penny. A decent selection of freshly cooked breakfast (the scrambled egg with chives is divine), wonderful breads, coffee, juices, cheeses, sliced meats, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals and even things like chia seeds. Honestly, don’t skip the breakfast. The staff are super friendly, big shout out to their amazing service. I paid around €62 a night including tourist tax (not including breakfast). This is a steal given the quality and hotel location.

Very good Premier Inn in a great central location and easy to find as you leave Alexanderplatz Station. Typical Premier Inn room quality but the bar area and breakfast were both slightly better than what I have experienced in other Premier Inns. There was an excellent local beer on tap and between 5 - 7pm there is happy hour where the drinks are all half price. Very good value for money and I would return. Very nice Australian guy that worked there too.

This hotel is in an excellent location, a very short walk from Alexander Platz with plenty of coffee shops, fast food, public transport, bars, shops etc. The room was what you expect from a premier inn - a comfy bed, modern etc. However, the noise of the 24 hour trams really disrupted our sleep. We had to go and buy ear plugs after our first night. The room also smelt of drains 24/7 which was even worse when we used the shower/taps/flushed the toilet, it was absolutely vile. We noticed this as a general consensus around Berlin but it was extremely worse in the hotel. The room also doesn’t get cleaned every day, something that was said on check in but not very well explained. We asked every day for the room to be cleaned yet it wasn’t. Our bins were very full, lots of fluff and dirty on the carpet. Upon our room being cleaned, there were hairs all over my partners side of the bed and still lots of fluff from scarfs and hats on the floor. A very poor standard of cleaning! Overall, we had an average stay. I would recommend for location and price.
