“Good place”
I haven't stayed in a hostel for years. I was able to get a private room with bath and was very comfortable. Breakfast was extra and was a typical German morning meal. Was able to wash and dry a load of laundry for 5 euros including detergent. With windows closed it was very quiet but the weat… more
I haven't stayed in a hostel for years. I was able to get a private room with bath and was very comfortable. Breakfast was extra and was a typical German morning meal. Was able to wash and dry a load of laundry for 5 euros including detergent. With windows closed it was very quiet but the weather was hot and I needed to open them. During the day, from early morning till about 6pm there was constant noise from the trash/recycle site next door. I would recommend this to young people wanting to be near the action in Berlin.

“Fine for a night!”
I just crashed there after a concert and for that, it did the job even though I barely slept because the room was hot and sticky and there is no AC. You need to bring a lock for the lockers, which are a bit small. The top bunk bed is very low so you can't sit in the lower one and if your adapter is… more
I just crashed there after a concert and for that, it did the job even though I barely slept because the room was hot and sticky and there is no AC. You need to bring a lock for the lockers, which are a bit small. The top bunk bed is very low so you can't sit in the lower one and if your adapter is too big, you can't plug in your phone because the upper bed is so low. The room was big and spacious with a sink and a table. The bathroom was fine and clean. They do charge you for linens which is a joke and then you also have to make your own bed and return the sheets. The location is absolutely outstanding. Good for a night, for longer, I would go somewhere else.
