“Stones throw from Checkpoint Charlie and other tourist attractions”
I suppose the main factor for booking this hotel was its distance to checkpoint Charlie and the mitte area in general as I’d hear that it’s the most historical area. I suppose the main factor for booking this hotel was its distance to checkpoint Charlie and the mitte area in general as I’d hear that it’s the most historical area. The hotel appears clean and the cleaning staff have been to my room every day whilst I’ve been out to change bedding, bins and towels, etc the breakfast is great and open for a long time every morning, I’ve been going to it around 9:30am and it’s never been busy by that time. The little bar is really nice and the bar manager is very friendly. Overall the staff have all been friendly in general. I was impressed with my room but I couldn’t work out how to get the aircon working so I suspect it’s just hot air and not cold. I slept with the window open because I’m always too hot and it was fine. There is an Asian cuisine restaurant at the front but I didn’t visit it so can’t comment.

Hotel provides options for breakfast and there is also a restaurant connected on the ground floor. Staff at the front desk are helpful and provide free maps.

Really clean hotel. Modern building and friendly staff. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Large walk in shower, great water pressure. Someone always in reception. Pros: Quiet area Close to U-bahn and Buses Clean and modern Cons: Pillows are awful, hard slabs! Window directly in bathroom that to start with I mistakenly thought was a mirror (stood naked) No mirror above dressing table Would have been nice to have some drawers in the room We also ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel, really tasty food.

“Affordable no frills”
The hotel has an interesting charm. The rooms are basic with no extras such as no coffee maker and very few lights. The beds are comfortable and the shower was on point. The bar was good and staff friendly although having a weird smell in the lobby
