We came across the Rewari Hotel while searching for accommodation for our family of four for our mini break in Berlin. We selected a four bedded room at the Rewari and were very surprised by how spacious it was (not something you often get in a capital city). The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was equally spacious with a nice powerful shower. Breakfast was fresh and ample (Get down there at 7am and you will find that the bread is still warm which is a plus point for me). Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. We'd arrived fairly easily by train and U-Bahn but they showed us an even easier way to return using the U-Bahn and bus. The location was good - no problems with street noise, there was easy access to public transport (and less than 5 minutes from 'Mama Cook', which is a great place to eat, as you will see from a separate review I have written). So are there any negatives? I have to search hard for anything you might think of as a negative and these are the only things I could come up with. 1) We ran out of soap/shower gel in the shower on one day. I guess it would have been nice of the bottle had been filled prior to our arrival. That said, it was replaced the very next day and we'd still got the bottle over the sink to use. The only other things I can think of was that the wash basin was cracked No that doesn't matter to us as it didn't leak or anything) and 2) it seemed like the previous occupants may have been smokers as it appeared that there was a vague smell of smokers in the room. I could be wrong about this, but I did say I had to scratch around to find anything at all negative that I might comment upon. All in all a great stay - we'd definitely stay again.

Set on a quiet street about 10 mins walk from Potsdamer Platz. Bus stop just outside the hotel so very easy for travel to main bus hub and transfer to airport. Set on a quiet street about 10 mins walk from Potsdamer Platz. Bus stop just outside the hotel so very easy for travel to main bus hub and transfer to airport. Seems to service both tourists and business people. Not a hotel if you want a lot of additional facilities. The breakfast was minimal but enough to satisfy, no cooked just continental style. We spend very little time in the hotel so it suited us but if you want to relax in the hotel itself then this is not for you. Personally we thought it was excellent value for money and the staff very helpful.

“Not in the Central District”

The hotel is not in the central district but we managed to locate it. Our group stayed here before we met the tour guide to the other hotel on the other part of town. The hotel is not in the central district but we managed to locate it. Our group stayed here before we met the tour guide to the other hotel on the other part of town. It is a four storey hotel with a front door so heavy! Always bring your room key everywhere you go because all doors lock from behind. There is nothing complimentary, not even water. Rooms are average size and clean and fresh linens. There is a grocery shopping nearby and it is located in the Jakob Kaiser Platz stop. We were on the third floor but that did not stop the noise from the main road as construction trucks and utility trucks started their services early. It was soooo noisy.

This hotel is quite well located. A bus stop is just in front of it and undergrounds are less than 5 minutes by walking. This hotel is quite well located. A bus stop is just in front of it and undergrounds are less than 5 minutes by walking. Personal kindly changed my room due to a strong smelling of cigarette in my first room. Not all rooms are equipped with lockers and rooms are to my mind not very well isolated. We hear people in the hall and from my second room which was on the side of the street, we hear noises from the car traffic. Preference to the second room that I was attributed, which is more modern. Breakfast does not have a lot of choices.
