“Lovely room overlooking the Old City”

Stayed here twice on my tour of the Caucuses. Lovely room with a river and old Tbilisi view. Location is perfect it's only a short walk to the cable car and restaurants by the river. Breakfast on the top floor was really good.

On a tour of Georgia, we stayed twice at the hotel; the first check-in and last check-out being around 3 or 4 a.m. and, on both occasions, we were greeted warmly by the fellow on desk duty - seems like somebody is always on Reception. Eka, on day duty, helpful. The first bedroom we had did have an issue with a smell of drains in the bathroom; however, the bedroom was a good size and led on to a balcony with a vertiginous drop to the river Mtkvara below. The bedroom during our next stay was on the floor above and had two elevations; the balcony was nicer and 'private' - and we sat out on a couple of occasions, viewing the city scene across the river. Breakfast is taken on the top floor of the hotel and what a view is provided! More interesting photographs of 'old' Tbilisi are to be found there. Overall, a good location, more so for the old city than the new.

“great value hotel with attentive staff and central location with a view”

really nice staff, very attentive, great location and price/ value, with nice clean rooms - a really well maintained hotel - large fresh breakfast with diverse food. certainly one to visit if in Tibilisi - and you have a moderate budget- they will accommodate you.

The hotel has an excellent location, a stone's throw from the river, cable car to the Mother of Georgia statue, River Park, boat-trips, etc. and a couple of ancient Orthodox churches which are still in use (the Trinity Church, and the church with the statue of Tbilisi's founder in front, and the Fort) The rooms are on 3 levels, but no electric lifts. No swimming pool. Good breakfast, complimentary bottle of water given only on the first day.
