Had a great 4nt break here - we had an ocean view room which had a great view from the balcony where we enjoyed coffee and drinks. The hotel may be of older style rooms but kept very well by housekeeping staff. We needed help with an issue regarding our luggage on arrival and the reception staff did an excellent job rectifying the issue😁👍. Staff all around the hotel were very pleasant throughout our stay. We did the Saturday night Polynesian Night which was enjoyable and the buffet on offer had local dishes. Breakfast each day had plenty choice to suit all tastes.

“A week in paradise...”

We stayed for 5 nights in an overwater bungalow. We enjoyed the experience. Room was clean and made daily. The snorkeling was good right off our bungalow deck. Dinners were tasty! We stayed for 5 nights in an overwater bungalow. We enjoyed the experience. Room was clean and made daily. The snorkeling was good right off our bungalow deck. Dinners were tasty! Breakfast was not their strong suit, it left a lot to be desired. Same offering each morning which is fine, but the potato cakes/hashbrowns were cold every morning, like they had been taken out of the box and left to thaw - not cooked. Especially in contrast to the food at either off their restaurants for dinner. I cannot comment on lunch but believe it was the same menu as the beach restaurant's dinner. They offer happy hour drinks at the main restaurant, they were okay for the price paid, but service was extremely slow if you wanted another drink. The good news is that yes, there is a grocery store within walking distance. As a matter of fact there are 2, one in each direction. You could get beverages, snacks, alcohol, food, hygiene items, etc. as needed. Worth the short walk to grab something for your small room fridge or an afternoon snack. Staff was friendly and treated us well. We would likely stay here again.

We stayed three nights here at the beginning of our vacation in Bora Bora. Great place to start. Snorkeling is good right outside, but you must rent one of their boats. It is just a short rise to the best snorkeling spots on the island. The spots where the tours take you, Had two nice connecting rooms with ocean view. Had some trouble with water running from the AC but they helped us solve it. The staff is very friendly and the restaurants are okay. Short walking distance to more options. Would recommend to start your Bora Bora stay here.

“Tired looking bungalow”

Good location on the main island with amazing snorkling right from the beach. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow, close to the pier. Good location on the main island with amazing snorkling right from the beach. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow, close to the pier. The beach area was a so-called swimming zone, but in the morning and afternoon, packed with boats and jet skies for all the guests who had rented these. Ok, but don't call it a swimming zone, more a loading dock. Luckily, the beach area where there are no boats is close by. The bungalow was a bit worn out and tired looking. Could use a bit of an upgrade. There are small geckos in the room crawling around, and most days, we had little poo marks on our bed, we believe the geckos were on the ceiling beams. They should have a cover or something under the ceiling to avoid this. We have experienced this solution at other hotels. The breakfast buffet was a disappointment. Not the best variety and the fruit and bread selection too basic. The restaurant is too small for the capacity of the hotel, so sometimes a little wait to get a table. We only had one lunch at the beach restaurant and one dinner at the main restaurant, and those were good experiences. The staff was ok, not so friendly. Be aware that there are many stray dogs in the area. We woke up one morning to find a dog in one of the chairs on the terrace. I wish the hotel would try to do more to keep the dogs away.
