We book every year one night in this hotel during the festival. Why do we go every time back? First the hotel is modern and very well maintained. We book every year one night in this hotel during the festival. Why do we go every time back? First the hotel is modern and very well maintained. It is a modern hotel but in my view the 'better' Novotel'. Rooms are not small and very clean with all necessary modern comfort. Breakfast is a relatively large buffet; obviously not Michelin star but in any case nothing to complain. Other plus is that they have their own parking but also it is outside the old city but literally opposite the wall which means, the whole center is in less than 5' walking distance. Where would you find an hotel easily accessible by car but in walking distance of the old town and at the same time offering you all modern comfort at a correct price? That is why we book it every year

Fantastic location and great room. It was very easy to reach from the train station, and all the main attractions were easily walkable within 10/15 minutes of the hotel. Fantastic location and great room. It was very easy to reach from the train station, and all the main attractions were easily walkable within 10/15 minutes of the hotel. The views out the window of the city walls were brilliant! The room was clean and well laid out, and included some teas, coffees and shampoo, shower gel etc. When booking, we had the choice of a room with a shower or a bath which was nice, and the in-room fridge was very useful for storing food to take out for lunches. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of French and European favourites. They also had alternative milks which was cool to see. We used the restaurant a fair bit and they were generally very good, aside from one slightly cold piece of meat. They also were able to take allergies into consideration, which was greatly appreciated, aside from some issues with residue left on plates etc. at breakfast. Lovely and friendly staff who were very helpful. Overall, would recommend for anyone visiting Avignon as a really nice and well situated place to stay.

The room was modern, clean and comfortable albeit without a nice view. There was ample underground parking and the bar staff were friendly and efficient - we didn’t use the restaurant but it looked good!

Lighting in the room was good. There is a large lobby area and a pool. Breakfast buffet was nice, with limited hot food, but nice fresh fruit and good croissants and pastries.
