“Charming hotel in the old town”
A lovely hotel situated in the old town in Avignon. Lots of charm. We stayed in the smallest room offered, but it was large enough for the two of us. All of the staff were very helpful. A lovely hotel situated in the old town in Avignon. Lots of charm. We stayed in the smallest room offered, but it was large enough for the two of us. All of the staff were very helpful. After a full day of walking around Avignon, we had a quiet dinner at the bar. The meal became a highlight of our trip. Breakfast was well prepared and presented. We had a car on the trip, and the hotel handled the parking, a real plus. We would definitely stay at Hotel d’Europe if our travels brought us to Avignon.

This is a very elegant, five star hotel with a sense of humor. Everything functions perfectly, is beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious. The bar is professional. You can sit on the terrace beneath the large (fig?) trees and enjoy your aperitif, Breakfast can also be served here. I believe there is a very good restaurant in the hotel. It is right across from the Palais des Papes. Staff will park your car for you, which is useful on the narrow streets on which it is located. Yet there is a stuffed giraffe head a neck looking down from the balcony in the foyer, and a couple of large teddy bears in an elegant Louis XVI chair in the entrance. My grandchildren felt welcome. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Sales manager Brice took care of luggage that we had to have shipped there prior to our arrival. Ophelia, Dorina and Elisabeth of the front desk were so helpful and accommodating.
