“Great hotel in Aix en Provence”

Well placed hotel for visiting Aix en Provence. A well equipped room, good size bathroom and very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel also provides free secure parking, a real bonus in this area. All staff were helpful and friendly at all times

Lovely Hotel with amazingly helpful staff. Arriving by Car from Marseille airport finding where to park the car isn't clear (Its next to the hotel, the closed electronic gate across the wide pavement next to the hotel) but once we knew all was good. We didn't really use the hire car much apart from arrival and departure day preferring to walk around AIX and getting the bus to Marseille conveniently located in the depot just a few hundred meters outside the hotel The hotel is quite compact with a small bar / restaurant area directly in reception which provided a lovely european breakfast and a reasonably well stocked bar for the evening (although it closed early for a hotel bar). A small outdoor area by the front doors allows diners to take food and drinks and eat in the sun shine A lift is available to all floors. Our triple room was large with a big bathroom and plenty of space - plenty of plug sockets for charging devices by beds and sockets for hair dryers / razors in the bathroom. Plenty of storage space, and a safe in the room. Ideally located just a short walk from the centre of Aix and its many bars and restaurants. A stones throw from the bus/coach depot and a short walk to the Aix main rail station, giving many opportunities to explore the area.

“ideal place for transit”

This is the closest one can stay to the bus station. As mentioned in another review this in not a train station, for traveling with TGV one needs to take a bus. So we considered it as very convenient. Aix has a nice mix of old and new tourist attractions, so staying 2 nights is to be recommended. … more

This is the closest one can stay to the bus station. As mentioned in another review this in not a train station, for traveling with TGV one needs to take a bus. So we considered it as very convenient. Aix has a nice mix of old and new tourist attractions, so staying 2 nights is to be recommended. Although at a busy road we had no noise problems, nice room, good breakfast. Would stay here again.

“Nice hotel”

This is a nice hotel. Room was really big, modern and clean and very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was basic but similar to any breakfast in France, even better , nice yoghurts , fresh boiled eggs , fresh fruit, bread, pastries etc.
