“3 Nights in Aix en Provenance”
The reception area staff was excellent. The young lady who greeted us each day was so lovely. Our room was spacious, clean, well appointed. The reception area staff was excellent. The young lady who greeted us each day was so lovely. Our room was spacious, clean, well appointed. Our room looked over a main thoroughfare just at the entrance to the old town. Below there was restaurant/bar, after restaurant/bar, shops, services, etc. There was lots of activity every day and night. The window treatments made it very quiet in the room at night for sleeping. I found the bedding very comfortable. My only negative was the towel service. The white towels were dingy with a slight musty smell. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay enormously. The room was comfortable with a nice view over the Place Saint Augustins - happily the well insulated windows blocked out the revelry. The staff was extremely helpful, including booking a table for dinner per my email request from America. The location was also terrific, and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Certainly a hotel worth a return.

“Overated as Aix in Provence”
Super center location although too crowded. Large rooms for french standarts. Nice staff. Overpriced. Better options at walking distance. Although nice and charming, I didn´t like Aix. Too touristy. Can´t imagine what would be in summer season.

“Could have been better.”
It could have been better. The spacious room was situated above a noisy pub. The safe did not work. The management insisted we paid a 250 euro deposit on arrival, on top of our prepaid stay. They kept the deposit for a whole month in spite of several requests for reimbursement!

The hotel is in a great location, in the centre ville, surrounded by cafes and stores. The hotel is in a great location, in the centre ville, surrounded by cafes and stores. It is close to the train station, although the trains currently have limited service due to maintenance of the rails. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet from street life. The staff are helpful and friendly. The only downside for us is the hotel is worn. The lobby and stairways are run down. We didn't eat breakfast but the breakfast room looked nice.
