“Would highly tecommrnd”

A great hotel in a perfect location near the centre of town. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed, nice rooms. Breakfast excellent. Unfortunately the weather was not warm enough to eat it outside in the little charming courtyard.

We stayed for a week at the Cezanne and found the whole experience excellent with only a couple of very minor niggles. There were many positives but, for us, best of all was the position of the hotel which is close to the railway station but also only 5-10 mins walk to the bustling centre. We found the location convenient but also extremely quiet. Our room was on the fourth floor directly opposite the elevator but we heard nothing during the entire stay apart from one evening when our neighbours' television was on a bit too loudly! The bed was extremely comfortable (I slept better than I often do at home) and the toiletries are of high quality. We found that everyone was very pleasant during our stay including the housekeeping staff who always greeted us as we passed. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The scrambled eggs were terrific and my partner loved the croissants. The hotel arranged transfers to and from the airport for us and that worked out very smoothly and our driver Mathieu was great and very friendly. The niggles are minor but although the bed was great, the room itself was quite compact and the toilet area is very tight. We never managed to find a way of turning on the bathroom lights without also turning on the main light over the bed which was troublesome during the night if we didn't want to wake each other. The facilities were good but a fridge would have been great...but I am aware that the next category up would have given us that as a mini bar but I didn't realise that until after we arrived. Regardless, we had a terrific stay at the Cezanne and I can't see any reason why we would return when we return to Aix, which is a lovely city and made for a wonderful base for the week.

“This hotel is a real gem”

This hotel is a real gem. Perfect location - just 10 min slow walking from everything but on the same time very convenient located to get off and back on the main road if you travel in car. Very helpful nice staff: we got help with parking, suitcases, restaurants. Not difficult parking around the corner (should be booked in advanced). We will be happy to be back!

We recently stayed at Boutique Hôtel Cézanne in Aix-en-Provence, and it was simply amazing. The room was very clean, spacious and freshly decorated merging traditional charm with modern amenities. From our arrival, Valentine, Simon, and the entire reception team exceeded expectations to ensure our comfort and took care of our restaurant reservations. The breakfast was enjoyable, and Kate's friendly and inviting attitude made each morning a pleasant experience.
