We arrived at reception with 2 young children only to be told that in addition to the room payment already taken by the booking platform we needed to pay 300 euro deposit using a physical credit card. We had not anticipated this and had only virtual cards. After a heated exchange with the man at reception he realised that we were genuine and stuck. We also learned that without the security deposit a lot of guests smoke in the room and this causes nightmares for the hotel. We reached a mutual understanding and the man was then more than helpful and kind. I guess they have difficulties with giests not respecting their rules. We also realised that although the platform was holding out room fee the hotel has not been paid. We had a lovely stay. The waiter or manager Ranglesh was absolutely lovely and took great care of us over dinner. The wine was among the best I’ve ever had and very reasonably priced especially for Paris. The food was also very good at both dinner and breakfast. The hotel has some quirky art, a football game and some bicycle built for two which my children enjoyed. The rooms are clean and well equipped. It is a great hotel for the price. We knew this wasn’t 5 star when we booked. Our main priority was to be close to the airport.

We were booked into here by Easyjet when they cancelled our flight. It's billed as an airport hotel but you can forget the ease of checking into the Sheraton in the terminal building it's actually 6 miles away. We rang reception to ask about their shuttle bus service which he said was between terminal 2B and 2D. That covered a huge area of confusing signs . For others please ignore the signs and ignore the basement monorail. Ignore the hotel website saying 5th floor, building works make this impossible. Instead ensure that when you call you say please book us seats on the bus or it won't turn up. Go outside the terminal building and walk towards terminal 2B until you see buses and a bus stop called Roissy Bus. The hotel shuttles stop there so please ignore the fake helpful illegal taxi touts. So after a stressful wasted 90 mins we arrived. The reception staff were lovely and spoke perfect English, the lobby bar looked nice, the room was dated but clean and had a nice new TV and little kettle with teas. Next morning the shuttle bus starts at 5.30 and costs 5 euros. We beg the hotel to make the bus instructions clearer on their website and we wish we'd flown BA so we might have got that lovely convenient Sheraton instead!
