“Better than reviews indicate ”

I stayed 1 night to see a band dt tge nearby Beacon - only a few minutes walk away. Staff helpful , and my room was spacious and comfortable- free tea , coffee , water and soft drinks too . Great bath and no issues with room temp!!! It was a bit Street noisy at night Plenty of local eateries and bars I booked their car park , and was glad I did - even though it was expensive. My exit ticket didn't work which was time consuming and annoying. Nb - if you have an older car you may have to pay the City clean air charge too - each day !!!!

“Enjoyed the adjacent Train Station.”

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Our room overlooked the train station. I enjoyed watching and hearing the trains going by and the associated hustle and bustle. My wife and I stayed here for two nights. Our room overlooked the train station. I enjoyed watching and hearing the trains going by and the associated hustle and bustle. Our room was comfortable with a split bathroom on either side of the entrance. The shower ceiling was slanted. Had to be careful not to hit my head. There was a large glass appliance at the back end of the shower. The staff members were unable to tell me the purpose of the device. The room fridge was not cold. The staff were unable to fix it. There is also a slight lip between the hallway and room floors. Could lead to a fall. Peculiar. We enjoyed the breakfast. Plenty of choices. The fruit salad was great. The gym was difficult to access. A staff member had to come and turn the lights on. There were just a couple of dumbbells lying around. They need a complete set. Manuela, checked us in. She stored our luggage while we visited the Christmas markets. She was both friendly and helpful. Another lady from Sri Lanka was the same.

We were visiting the Christmas market and booked this hotel. I was worried after reading the negative reviews but everything was good. The hotel is across the road from the train station. We were visiting the Christmas market and booked this hotel. I was worried after reading the negative reviews but everything was good. The hotel is across the road from the train station. We dropped our bags and went straight to the market. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful with information. Our room was lovely and very clean. It was very expensive for room only and I know it's peak season but there wasn't much choice for my required dates. The price paid should have included breakfast I think. I did try to have lunch but the restaurant was full. Overall we had a great stay.

“Superb location”

Ideal location right next to the station and around a 10/15 minute walk into town. Staff friendly and breakfast was good, and not too busy! Room itself was fine but the bathroom was sadly very small and awkward shaped meaning there wasn’t much room to get ready.
