“Clean and under rated”
We stayed for 3 nights and wanted 2 single rooms with a manned 24 hours desk as we arrived around midnight. We stayed for 3 nights and wanted 2 single rooms with a manned 24 hours desk as we arrived around midnight. This hotel was one of the few that met our criteria and I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews. We found the hotel staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. All spoke English and nothing was a problem. The rooms were basic, its a 2 star probably should be a 3 star. It was very clean, fresh crisp bed linen and white towels with lots of hot running water at any time. There was a showerloop added to the bath taps, so not a proper shower but it had a good flow of water through it. The bathroom also had a hairdryer attached to the wall plus razor sockets. The TV was french only but it had a film and music channel. The air conditioing controls looked old but it was 29 degrees outside and it worked well :-) The hotel is well placed for sightseeing being a very short walk to Place Wilson and then onto the Victor Hugo maret, churches and shopping. It is 2 minutes from the Metro

“Weekend break”
The hotel was perfect for our stay just 2 minutes walk to the bizzy centre and the metro station Jean Jaruas? staff on reception were very helpful. Rooms and beds were very comfatable the hotel is a family run. .

Hotel Castellane is a friendly, family-run hotel, about 15 minutes' walk from the station. Our rooms were pleasant and very quiet (facing the interior courtyard) with comfortable beds. Hotel Castellane is a friendly, family-run hotel, about 15 minutes' walk from the station. Our rooms were pleasant and very quiet (facing the interior courtyard) with comfortable beds. We needed an wheelchair accessible room and it was excellent, spacious with a walk-in shower and shower seat. Breakfast was self-service and offered a decent selection of sweet and savoury food. Reception staff were all delightful and went out of their way to help make us comfortable and plan our stay. Great value for money.

standard hotel but clean accommodation.Room sizes are standard.located just 10 min walk from main station.reasonable price .helpful staff at the front desk . very convenient for guest in short business trip and wants to catch a early trail. Standard breakfast.

This is a somewhat small hotel at the heart of the city. The rooms are rather old and far from modern, but they are clean and practical. The breakfast is pretty decent and the staff is extremely kind and helpful. There is a very small elevator to reach the upper floors that can take one person and her/his luggage. The bathroom is missing any type of shower curtain, so prepare to have a lot of water on the room floor after you take a shower. The bathroom has a single soap dispenser which is also used for shampoo. There is a parking garage close to the hotel where you can park your car for a discount price. Wifi signal is extremely weak at some of the rooms and floors. Overall, despite some annoyances, it has a good location, decent breakfast and helpful staff.
