Pros: - Lovely clean room, like VERY clean. - Aircon was fabulous, and stayed on when you left the room. - Staff were all lovely! And they gave us a free can of Pepsi on arrival. An unexpected perk! - EXTREMELY good value. We paid £180 for 3 nights which is super cheap - Literally 2 min walk to a HUGE Carrefour, so like many Disney travellers who come here, you can buy cheaper options for food to take in to the parks. - 10 min walk to the RER for Disney and it’s cheap. Though I have to be honest, I’m a bit fat and the walk is uphill for a lot of it on both ways as it dips and goes back up. After a day in the parks? Ouch. This hotel is SO MUCH nicer than the Campanile next to the parks. However it has no Disney shuttle buses like that one. Baring that in mind here are the cons. Cons: - The afore mentioned walk to the RER if you aren’t particularly fit. - We were always able to get a parking space but it isn’t the easiest. - It is further from the Disney parks than you’d think. It’s about a 15 minute drive, maybe 20. Still that’s not the hotels fault, we made the choice to save money by going further out. -

If you have a late flight from Charles de gaulle airport, your only option to get to the hotel is a very long (packed) train journey with a 3 min taxi ride from Torcy train station to the hotel or an expensive taxi from the airport. The 19 bus runs from outside Torcy Station to Charles de gaulle airport and only takes around 30/45 mins. I used this to return to the airport and it only cost 5 € for both of us. The bus stops running at 9pm. Nobody at the hotel made us aware of this bus. The hotel is perfect for disneyland, as in the day time its a short 10 minute walk from the hotel to Torcy Station, then it's 3 stops on the train which brings you right to disneyland. Train also runs after disneyland closes but be quick, as they stop running at midnight. You should not walk from the station to the hotel alone at night as its a different vibe at night and one side of the road that the hotel is on is a greens space with not much lighting, so use a taxi on the way back from torcy station at night. There are taxis outside but ask a member of staff at the station if they can recommend a taxi man. The station always had staff there when we visited and some of them were helpful. As soon as we arrived at the hotel the staff hassled us for a tourist charge. Nobody told me about this charge before hand. The reception area of the hotel looks nice but once you get in the lift, your basically in a 1960's soviet style council block, with dingy lighting, filty forlorn stairwells and metal shutters on your windows like they use outside closed shops. I was with a child on the ground floor. Anyone from the street or open car park (which is opposite your door) can walk up to your door, just like a motel. It does not feel safe, especially with children. The carpet in the room was filthy and there was a smell of tobacco as people smoked a lot outside. The telephone did not work which added to the unsafe feeling. There were no English speaking channels on the TV. The rusty shower did not work. Chamber maids open your door without knocking. Bring your own travel iron if you can as it's a drama to borrows theirs which only leaks water all over your clothes anyway. The bed was very comfortable although the pillows were too soft. The bathroom was very clean and well tiled. We really liked the soap dispensers and there's also a hair dryer in the bathroom and fresh towels. We had to have baths in 33 degree heat as the rusty shower was out of action. We used the room to sleep and bathe so it did its job. They should use tiles instead of carpet if they can't be bothered to hoover. We did not eat the food there as there was never any available when we woke up or came back at midnight, so a fridge and a hotplate would have been useful as the food in disneyland is not great and we were often hungry when we got back with no options to eat. There is a big shopping area nearby but it closes before midnight and most people stay at disneyland to the end, so no chance of getting food on the way back. On our way back to the airport we spotted a kfc drive through. U can also use uber eats. They have a man in the courtyard of the hotel who makes burgers and fries and sandwiches. He was helpful and made one of the best burgers I've had in my life. I was so upset that he only operated from 6pm to 10pm at weekends as we were in disneyland at those times but during the week he starts at 12pm. You can order sandwiches from him to take with you to disneyland (bring your own foil). They do sell soft drinks, alcohol and sweets at reception but nobody showed me to my room despite seeing that I could not manage my luggage, it was dark and I had a small child. There is a microwave available in reception but no fridge for you to keep ready meals. I would stay in this location again for disneyland but I'd get an earlier flight so that I could get the bus from the airport and I'd preferably choose a different hotel because of feeling unsafe and the filthy carpet.
