We came to this hotel quite late in the season, it is very good for ski in, ski out as you have a locker area where you put all your stuff to dry which is good and well organised.The food was quite nice as well and they have a decent amount of options to choose from, wether it’s your main meal or dessert. For the price your get what you pay for but in my opinion the food lives above its standards, however I believe your hotel rooms seemed a bit outdated, and your bathrooms in my opinion could do with a refurbishment mainly because the bath is so small I think it’s a waste of space and the shower head is very low down, the mattresses and pillows are quite hard too and felt uncomfortable to sleep on. The last thing I think you really need to improve is the hygiene of the glasses and cutlery, the glass had dirty water marks on and tiny particles on and same goes for the cutlery. In general I don’t believe this hotel should get the hate it gets given And I think it wasn’t as bad as people made it sound .. I think your hotel should just improve, new soft mattresses and pillows, updating the outdated rooms, renovating all the bathrooms to be more accessible and safer and the hygiene of the glasses and cutlery.. doing this will definitely attract more people to this hotel in Les arcs 2000. Interesting stay... Pros- • practically out of the (wiffy) locker room straight onto the slopes. • games such as billiards, foosball and ping-pong (bring your own ball as theirs do not bounce) are available for a small charge. • the rooms have comfortable beds with a gorgeous view onto the slopes. … more

Interesting stay... Pros- • practically out of the (wiffy) locker room straight onto the slopes. • games such as billiards, foosball and ping-pong (bring your own ball as theirs do not bounce) are available for a small charge. • the rooms have comfortable beds with a gorgeous view onto the slopes. • a large variety of food. •"Essential Skipass" included- but not for the day of arrival and the day of departure. • the free shuttle stops close by. • there is a luggage room so you can leave your stuff there whilst you go skiing on your last day. • close to restaurants and shops/ ski rental places Cons- • not signposted at all • no space to keep a suitcase. The cupboards are a decent size. • somewhat random cleaning of the rooms. • no hairdryer, but then it is only a 2* • reception closed at busy times, so you need to grab the person at the bar or another random member if staff • whilst the catering staff are friendly and helpful, they can only do so much and you end up waiting for things to go through the dishwasher before you can help yourself to anything. Cutlery, crockery and glasses come out wet and you need to dry everything. • there is a gondola that runs late into the night which some people might find irritating, so you might want to book a room facing away from the slopes. I would write to the hotel if you want rooms that communicate as this is not done automatically when you book for more than 3 people. There is a Sherpa supermarket in Arcs 2000 and a Carrefour marché at 1950. Parking is free at Les Arcs 1600 and you can get the free shuttle up to the hotel. You can park for 2 hrs free in the car park near the hotel- it's still quite a trek, or close to the entrance to empty the car and drive off again.
