Speedy and efficient check in, our request for a room located on a high floor was granted. Spacious, bright, large, well-appointed quiet and comfortable. Speedy and efficient check in, our request for a room located on a high floor was granted. Spacious, bright, large, well-appointed quiet and comfortable. Tea/coffee, sink, microwave, much more than we had expected. Plenty of tastefully designed storage space. Huge shower cubicle with powerful shower with an additional shower over the bath. Super comfy bed and linen, large TV mounted on a unit which could be positioned according to viewing preference. Air con worked well. The whole room was spotless and faultless. Standard buffet breakfast, no thrills although adequate for our needs. No designated bar area as such. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the city centre, approx. 5-minute easy walk. Lots of restaurants/bars on the doorstep, the area felt safe.

Stayed here for 4 nights, as the location looked good and I'm familiar with the Novotel Suite concept. The room was comfortable and spacious; the view was towards the theatre. Stayed here for 4 nights, as the location looked good and I'm familiar with the Novotel Suite concept. The room was comfortable and spacious; the view was towards the theatre. The air con in the first room didn't work and the receptionist couldn't do enough for us to move us to another room. I didn't have breakfast, but took full advantage of the fridge and kettle in the room. I was able to get proper mugs from the reception as the single-use ones in the room were too small. In all, a good stay.

Location is good but has no parking, the promoted parking next door is expensive especially at a weekend when most street parking is free and this isn’t mentioned. I asked about early check in and was told it would cost which is rather cheeky if the room is ready. The room is a decent size but the … more
Location is good but has no parking, the promoted parking next door is expensive especially at a weekend when most street parking is free and this isn’t mentioned. I asked about early check in and was told it would cost which is rather cheeky if the room is ready. The room is a decent size but the additional bed is really a sofa, couldn’t get the air con to work but managed without, the works going on meant a strange smell in the corridor. Staff were very helpful and there was a great breakfast spread.

Location is correct - just 5-min walk from the city center... which you cannot reach by car - and rooms are spacious, silent and well isolated. Staff is helpful, active and cooperative. The place has two bad points though... 1. breakfast is next to the counter at the entrance and with not enough spots to sit in 'rush hour'; 2. one cannot download suitcases at front door 'cause entrance is in a walking part... the park place - public garage - is just 20mts away, but when it rains! it is a nuisance!! Anyway, the whole experience was positive and I would overnight there again if back to Perpignan :)

“OK hotel, not 100% up to Novotel standard”
OK hotel, nothing special, what you can expect from a Novotel. For check-in (if you are travelling by car) you have to park on the side of quite a busy road, emergency lights on. After checking in and paying €20,- you can park in a garage 50m away, which is OK. Breakfast not up to Novotel standards… more

After checking in and paying €20,- you can park in a garage 50m away, which is OK. Breakfast not up to Novotel standards I must say, and I've been doing Novotel for approx 15 years. Airco in the room was OK, bathroom was nice.....but no cold water...normally you'd expect no hot water, but here it is the other way around, so no cooling off in the shower! :-)
