We decided to stop here as it was close to the main highway, on route through France to the Eurotunnel. We decided to stop here as it was close to the main highway, on route through France to the Eurotunnel. As I arrived in the car park (large with plenty of parking) the outside area of the hotel looked in need of some attention. E.g. grass areas needed cutting, old flower pots with weeds in, old looking outside furniture to sit on. So my initial reaction was, 'oh dear'. On entering reception the staff member was friendly and I was given a choice of ground floor or first floor room. Chose ground floor as we had our pet Dog with us. Which was a good choice as the room had a door as a window which was very useful as access for the dog. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our overnight stop. Comfortable bed. Extra pillows. The only criticism I could say about the room was that if you had mobility issues the bath was quite high to step into to use the shower over the bath. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on this aspect. Checkout was straightforward and again friendly staff member.
