“A real gem near Notre Dam. If you want central to Paris, look no further!”

You find a potential place to stay, read various review's, of which some can be a bit negative and cause a slight bit of trepidation, so often yo get some where and it’s not quite as good as you thought . With the Olympic Game's being in Paris, oddly enough the tourist numbers are down, so I took the opportunity to take my daughter on a 3 day break to see Paris, we narrowed our choice of hotel to two of which Villa Pantheon, being more central, was chosen. I can’t praise the hotel enough! Villa Pantheon is lovely. Very easy to get too by public transport, it’s a five minute walk from Notre Dam metro, the desk staff are friendly and welcoming on arrival ( we were later than planned due to airport delays), check in was fast and easy, the room was very clean, quiet and comfortable enough for two people. Air conditioning works fine. Power sockets, there was one spare by the bed but I always carry a lightweight 4 gang plug board with me so we had ample capacity for our needs. Bathroom and shower again clean and everything provided that you needed. Water lovely and hot! Heated towel rail as well. Room safe easy to use…and big enough for an IPad, other valuables. Beds and pillows…super comfortable! Slept really well as we did a lot of walking! Hotel Wi-Fi available and easy to set up. A nice breakfast choice, continental style plus boiled eggs, coffee choice of teas, juices etc. Hotel foyer lounge/bar is nice to sit in and watch the world go by and they have an inner courtyard on the ground floor plus other outdoor space on other floors. Our stay was originally for three nights and we were due to fly home on Friday evening until BA cancelled our flight on the Friday morning ( by text message!) and moved it to Saturday night! Due to adverse weather in U.K. The Hotel staff were absolutely fantastic, when I went to ask if they had any spare rooms for the extra night they could not have been more helpful! We could keep our room, so no need to move to another. I paid for it myself and they did a good rate. I did so there but would like to say it on this review, thank you so much for all the help as it made the flight cancellation experience a bonus not a problem as we got an extra day in Paris and time to see a few more things! If you need to leave bags after checking out, it’s no problem at all, they look after them for you at no charge. I’d like to add a really big thank you to the manager ( Debbie I think) and all the staff at the Villa Pantheon who made our stay so special. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Central Paris….look no further than the Villa Pantheon…. I would definitely recommend it and go back myself! Merci Bien Villa Pantheon.

“Nice little hotel”
Overall was great. Room was spacious and location of hotel is convenient. Walking distance to most places. 8mins away from train station. Reception staffs were all friendly except one - “Ten” male staff in suit. He is arrogant. He replies with an attitude.

“Dated ambience but convenient and comfortable”
We spent three nights here to be near the Sorbonne and Latin Quartier, and it was a good choice. We spent three nights here to be near the Sorbonne and Latin Quartier, and it was a good choice. Close to transport, surprisingly quiet, and it had most of the amenities one wold expect from a 4 star Paris hotel. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the service was fine. Positives were that we were able to access a room quite early even though we arrived before 3pm, and everything in the room worked, except that it was hard to regulate the room temperature. The room wanted to be too warm, but we could open the window.
