We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and it couldn’t have been better. We went with my parents who haven’t been to Paris for some years, so it was a special trip for us. From the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful. We arrived earlier than check in and no problem storing our cases whilst we went off for lunch. The main receptionist was always extremely friendly and helpful, she spoke excellent English and was very polite about our basic French. She gave us tips on the area and a helpful map too. The hotel itself is in a very pleasant square, Place de la Sorbonne, so you are slightly off the main road, so a more peaceful spot. The rooms were lovely. Very clean and all very individual. Our room overlooked the inner courtyard and was extremely quiet. My parents room had two massive windows overlooking the square which they loved, especially the buskers who entertained them each afternoon while they relaxed before dinner. Great location next to a lovely cafe for breakfast, evening drinks and more. Close to the Pantheon and the Latin quarter for great restaurants. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel and we would definitely stay here on our next visit. Well done to all the staff and thank you for such a lovely stay.

Excellent hotel close to all the main sites, but quietly out of the noise, great restaurant options are steps away, as well as buses and subways. Very good service from staff, always helpful. Excellent hotel close to all the main sites, but quietly out of the noise, great restaurant options are steps away, as well as buses and subways. Very good service from staff, always helpful. The rooms are a good size for a Paris mid range hotel. No drawers for clothes was not a deal breaker for us but might bother some. Nice bathroom with a good strong shower, toilet was in a separate area. all the shampoos etc were supplied and coffee maker in room was a nice touch. We were upgraded so that was a nice touch. And so close to Luxembourg Gardens

Fantastic location ......quiet picturesque square with good small bistros and a pret a manger. Recommend L'escritoire for good food and ambiance. 10minute walk to Notre Dame or the heart of the Latin Quarter. Hotel was very good. We had a room for 3 adults that was not spacious but was very acceptable with a great waterfall shower. Matresses firm. Room clean and well maintained. Service overall excellent. Breakfast was not included in the price but was good value at 16Euro. Recommend this hotel absolutely. Would come again in a flash.
