Recently stayed 3 nights at the historic Ambassador Opera Hotel operated by Marriott. Our checkin was effortless and host front desk attendant “Charles” graciously welcomed us to his city with room upgrade and complimentary surprises! After a day of walking. To local sites .. we stopped in at the Lindbergh Bar where cocktail craftsman “kevin” shared history of the bar and hotel, while quenching our thirst with much needed beverages ! Breakfast and happy hours at downstairs restaurant and upstairs conceige lounge offered good food and drinks. Super happy with this place ! We would recommend this hotel

“Classic Paris Hotel”

Stayed for one night on a recent visit to Paris. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a ‘courtyard view’, so no street noise. There was some building/renovation work going on nearby that started up around 8.30 in the morning (week day). Location is good ... more

Stayed for one night on a recent visit to Paris. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We had a ‘courtyard view’, so no street noise. There was some building/renovation work going on nearby that started up around 8.30 in the morning (week day). Location is good for metro stations, shopping, wide range of restaurants, etc. Only downside was the aircon seemed was very noisy at times, like something mechanical was coming apart. But it functioned. We had breakfast included in the room. Average buffet style.

“Wonderful homebase for our 6 days in Paris”

We stayed at the Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador during our family trip to Paris in late April. The location is top notch, plenty around to eat, drink, shop etc. We traveled as a family of 3; Mom, Dad and an almost 9 year old. This was one of the only Marriott properties that let us book a room that could hold triple occupancy (King bed + rollaway) on points, a major plus. The front desk was always helpful and kind and while we did not talk to the concierge much the two times we did they gave us good advice and service with a smile. The bar made a nice cocktail and if you get access to the lounge on the 8th floor it is a win. The breakfast is a good start to the day, knowing we always stopped at a boulangerie in the morning for a "real breakfast" and the end of day nibbles were nice. The best part was the view! A really nice glimpse at the Eiffel Tower. A few notes: - The hotel always smelled lovely (there are automatic spritzers) - The issues with the hot water seem to be resolved, we never had an issue - While the hotel is 4 star, it doesn't feel high end in some ways - the towels are small and scratchy, there are no specialty products in the rooms and while things were clean an attention to detail was not always met - things in our room were dusty and a lot of the usb plugs did not function - My husband is Platinum and they honored the late check-out (4pm), but we were not able to check in early and were not given an upgrade. Not a complaint just a note as we normally at least get a high floor room (we were on the first floor) and a view (we had a street view when I know the Courtyard view would have been nicer). Also, no welcome amenity in the room, but we were given 2 glasses of nice champagne via a voucher. This point is so others with status can have an idea what to expect, again not a complaint - we know all the upgrades are at the discretion of the hotel. - Construction of a nearby building starts at 8:30am and is loud, don't expect to sleep in... it is Paris though get up and explore! - Our room lost power a few times (seemed to be isolated to our room) and we weren't charging anything but our phones. It was not ideal as stuff in the fridge went bad and the room was very stuffy when we returned. THANK YOU to the hotel, it was the perfect homebase for our vacation! We would happily return again and would recommend it to others.

We stayed at the Paris Mariott Opera Ambassador Hotel for one night during our visit to Paris (basically our AirBnB was not available on the day we landed). Positives: - Large room (we stayed at the Executive Suite - which is their largest room) - Great location - very central; 5 mins walk to the Opera House, Galleries Lafayette etc - Gave us early check-in, late check-out - Executive Lounge was great Negatives - the hotel is under-staffed; so service was just average - for eg, after 8pm, i could not dial the 'service' number as no one was answering; went down and at the reception, the person said that he is the only there at the time - the hotel lacked a vibe in the lobby; it was just dull
