Definitely not a 4 star hotel, not even in Paris. Tiny room, tiny bathroom, cramped hall, tiny elevator. There was hardly room for me and another guest returning the ironing board to reception (!!). Definitely not a 4 star hotel, not even in Paris. Tiny room, tiny bathroom, cramped hall, tiny elevator. There was hardly room for me and another guest returning the ironing board to reception (!!). Breakfast chef is the breakfast waiter. Breakfast itself no vegetables and not a very big variety of anything. On the upside: the service was with a smile and very helpful. Hotel and hall recently renovated with new carpeting. The hotel located close to Hotel Cluny and Metro Sorbonne

“Good location”

The location is ok, but needs to lift its game a bit. Towels were old and like old tea towels, small and tired. Hot water was almost non existent, never used the cold water in the shower, and the pressure was terrible. Air conditioning was very weak, thankfully the first couple of nights were quit… more

The location is ok, but needs to lift its game a bit. Towels were old and like old tea towels, small and tired. Hot water was almost non existent, never used the cold water in the shower, and the pressure was terrible. Air conditioning was very weak, thankfully the first couple of nights were quite cool, but became more uncomfortable with the warmer weather. Rooms were tiny, Staff were very helpful. We had drinks in the lobby on a couple of occasions and it is just the reception staff pouring the drinks. Not all of them know what they are doing!

Good points : spotlessly clean,modern and very central Room has a phone,alarm clock,iron and built in wardrobes,a safe and drawers to put stuff in BBC world news available on a 40' TV (all the rest were French) Staff very friendly and helpful Bad points : Tiny rooms,I was in a privilege room and frankly would be worried about the under privileged It was so tiny,you wouldn't swing a cat in it There was no balcony,you'd be forgiven for thinking there might be having seen the website and you'd certainly wonder what you paid extra for There is a window that opens wide You will have an awful lot of street noise Breakfast : if you want a fried egg or an Omelette, you're handed the pan and the cooker is turned on for you.. There are some luke warm 'hot breakfast items,cold meats and various continental breakfast items Coffee is brought to your table for you (from a machine I think),nothing else Basically you're getting a 2.5* functional experience here Would I stay again? Not really Too small and too basic
