Situated directly across from the Palais des Congrès shopping mall and conveniently served by Metro Line 1 and RER C, this hotel offers an unbeatable location. The world-famous Champs-Élysées is just a short Metro ride or a pleasant 20-minute walk away, while the vibrant Avenue des Ternes, with its abundance of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets, is right on your doorstep. The hotel's staff, from the front desk to the concierge, porters, and restaurant personnel, are exceptionally accommodating. Each room is thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities, including a hairdryer, iron, tea-coffee maker, safe deposit box, and a mini-fridge. The en-suite bathroom and shower are impeccably clean and feature stylish toiletries. Complimentary bottled water is provided, though Paris' tap water is safe to drink. The hotel's expansive dining area offers a delightful variety of breakfast options, from hot and cold dishes to fresh fruits and a selection of beverages. I booked into this hotel as I was attending the 2024 CIGRE Session in the Palais, which is opposite the hotel. Its location is excellent for that but also only a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe. Taxis are readily available for longer journeys or you can take the Metro, which has a station one minute away. The room was a reasonable size (for Europe) with a lot of hanging and drawer space. This suited me well as I was out most days but, being there for 10 days, did not want to have to live out of my suitcase. I was able to empty the suitcase and put it away. The bathroom was a good size, with both a handheld and overhead shower. There was a good range of essentials. The room had a reasonable sized desk, which I was able to work at in the evenings. It had three power points (standard European) as well as a desk light. The desk chair was good, although I would have also liked to have a lounging chair. The bed was large and comfortable. I slept very well. There was only a single power point by the bed, which was being used by the clock (which had two 1 amp USB ports). I thought I would have to use a more powerful USB supply until I noticed that the power point incorporated a USB-C socket (see photo), which met all of my needs. I use an APAP machine while I was sleeping so always carry a power board, so that I can draw supply even if there is a single plug. The view from the room (even on the 7th floor) was of a couple of houses. I suspect that the rooms on the other side of the corridor (the odd numbered rooms) would have a better view. I had a Club room but there is no club! Instead, each day €50 was applied to offset meal and bar costs incurred that day. There was a fridge but it was empty. I filled it with drinks from Monoprix initially, but later from the small supermarket in the lower level of the Palais. They supplied two eco-friendly water containers (filled) and there was a filtered water station next to the lifts. This was particularly handy as I used them each day to carry water into meetings and as I toured around. The breakfast was excellent. I had included it in my room rate but it did not seem too expensive for those that hadn't. Apart from the really small juice glasses, it was easy to access multiple breakfast options. A highlight was watching the automated trolleys returning dishes to the kitchen. I have a video but it is too large to upload. They also have automated vacuums in the corridors. There were multiple options for meals, although I had a number of functions to attend and hardly used them. Room service was fast and good. The Cafe adjacent the lifts is a nice touch. There were also many good eateries within a short walk. The concierge, and all of the staff really, were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. For rainy days, they produced umbrellas, for example. Overall a great place to stay.

This place is probably more geared towards conference visitors rather than tourists, but is still only a short walk to the Arc de Triomphe. An inexpensive taxi will get you downtown to major sites quickly, or learn to use the Metro. It was our last night in town and pouring down rain so we reluctantly stayed and had dinner at the in-house bistro. The food was very good, better than we expected, as good as we had in other bistros in town. The rooms were good, but use the doorless open shower which makes it difficult to have a ice warm shower. We would probably stay somewhere else, but this was fine for one night.
