Stayed for one night and would have happily stayed for longer. An easy 3 minute walk from Gare de L’Est train station and a ten minute walk to Gare de Nord. Reception staff were exceptional and so willing to check us in very early in the day as our train from Strasbourg arrived into Paris around 9:30 am. We only had about a half hour wait before being checked in. As our booked room was not available,we were offered a room on the 7th floor which was quite large and plenty of space for two adults and two children. The only way to access this floor is by a key used in the lift by the staff. We were very grateful for this room. More so when we stepped out onto the deck and had uninterrupted views of the Eiffel Tower! Only the occupants of the two rooms on this floor have this opportunity to view during the day and night. Such a special treat for Paris. The room came with a kettle and some mugs and whilst there was no fridge, being winter the ability to open the window/doors meant things stayed cool outside. The windows /door also have electronic block out blinds. Easy access from this hotel to the metro and plenty of food shops and little markets around the hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Close to Gare de l’est and 10 mins from Gare de Nord, but on a quiet side street. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed room only so we could sample local cafes for breakfast which worked really well. We had a triple room which was a little tight for space but it was very clean and had plenty of hot water and excellent shower. Beds only average comfort. No kettle. Norte Dame/ Louvre etc was a comfortable 40 min walk and plenty of options to eat out close by. If you are arriving on the Eurostar, it’s a decent budget hotel.

The hotel is great for short term. It is just across the street from the train station/metro which we used almost every day. There's' a little corner shop across the street where we would get our water and snacks. There are several restaurants close by as well. Even some American fast food establishments. If you walk the opposite way, then you will hit La Marais area. I jogged the area and found that the hotel is actually close to the Seine if you don't mind walking/sightseeing which is what we did. There is a restaurant on the corner where we would get our daily espresso and croissant. The staff at Ibis were great. They were always available to help me out with any questions. My French was limited but with their English proficiency and my determination to practice my French they were very patient. Merci beaucoup!
