“A great little hotel to start you French adventures”

“A welcome respite for a weary traveler”
The location to Gare du Nord is wonderful. The previous reviews mention the Hotel is quiet, that is absolutely true. I could not hear any noise from the rooms next to me or the street below. The room was up to date, clean and beautiful. The bathroom had modern fixtures and was well equipped. … more
The location to Gare du Nord is wonderful. The previous reviews mention the Hotel is quiet, that is absolutely true. I could not hear any noise from the rooms next to me or the street below. The room was up to date, clean and beautiful. The bathroom had modern fixtures and was well equipped. The staff spoke English and was very helpful. A great place to stay if you want easy access to the metro, TGV, or Charles De Gaulle Airport.

“Great location, great for families, friendly and safe hotel”
This hotel is great- you cannot beat the location if you need to be near Gare du Nord. This hotel is great- you cannot beat the location if you need to be near Gare du Nord. It’s a very short (2 minute) walk from the train station, which is perfect if you need to travel by train from Paris. We had a Eurostar booked to London at 10am, and staying here meant we could relax and enjoy breakfast before an easy stroll across to the station. It’s also very close to get on the Paris metro, which takes you anywhere in Paris- again it’s about a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and then 2 stops to Norte Dame and the centre of Paris. We would stay here for longer next time, as it’s a great base from which to explore the city. The best thing about the hotel for us was the interconnecting rooms that are available- this meant we could stay with our 2 children, and have our own space and own bathrooms. Everyone slept really well- the rooms are quiet, peaceful and comfortable. We really loved the train- style decor, and the furnishings were all good quality and clean. All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, and able to speak English when our French wasn’t up to standard. Definitely recommend this place, and I’m sure we’ll be back.

A fabulous Hotel located within walking distance to both Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, train stations. This boutique hotel located in the 10th Arrondissement is close to many sites and has an array of cafes and restaurants nearby. It was our first time staying in the 10th Arrondissement and we really enjoyed the location. The Concierge desk staff were excellent (day and night staff), they assisted us with directions, enquiries, engaging conversation regarding Paris sites, and were the most pleasant staff we dealt with during our two month vacation through Europe. The Hotel itself is quirky, we loved the theme, it was quiet, very clean, offered a great breakfast, and for Paris the size of the bedroom and bathroom was great. We could not fault our stay and look forward to returning next year.

I was thoroughly satisfied with my choice to stay at Hotel Whistler because of the convenience to the train station, safety and nice staff. I came to Paris from the Alsace region for Christmas markets from Gare de L’Est and walked to the hotel in 5 minutes with my luggage. I had 2 full days in Paris. With the metro being a 1 minute walk away I was able to dine, see the Christmas decor around the city and shop til I dropped. If it’s not your first time in Paris and you have an early flight from CDG, I highly recommend this property. I was on the RER B before 6:45 AM no problem. The hotel is tucked away and I felt very safe coming back late on the metro line 4 alone. There are other larger hotels in the area but more people hanging out in front of those properties that would make me uncomfortable. The room was clean, quiet and small. I had a nice view. The bath was very big actually. Cute little breakfast and coffee/hot chocolate for free during the day. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. They answered my emails ahead of my stay which was great.
